HellO! I'm so happy to have found this chat board ^_^ I'm a big Legionaire fan (I dont know much but still am a big fan)
Ok anyway, here is a fan character of mine I just made name Shylock Spectra AKA Prism. She has her people's natural ability to grow crystals but as she is part of the royal family can turn she herself into crystal. This is all I have. Any suggestions on powers/weakness would be great! I wanna make a fanfic for her ^_^

Okay grows crystals. Can turn into crystal meaning can change a carbon based lifeform to diamond? Has optical potential. Piezoelectrical, so maybe is an expert in biological circuitry.

Enemy: Charma, as diamonds are a girls best friend.

Weakness: electricity would take advantage of piezoelectrical properties and cause her to vibrate at very high frequencies.

Wow, two days ago, I would have thought Piezoelectrical had something to do with lighting a pizza parlour. But, by coincidence I came across this term in Robert J Sawyer's new book "Hybrids" (the completion of the Neanderthal parallel universe trilogy). So now I know that piezoelectrical refers to the electric discharge released by minerals under high pressure (or something like that).

Nifty drawing Crys! Maybe she could have a weakness to certain vibrations or sonic attack that would shatter her crystal structures and revert her to humanoid form (or something...)

Or maybe she could just have a weakness for cute, really smart green boys.

She looks like she'd be a fun addition to the team. She and Sensor could either be great friends or great jealous rivals since they're both royalty.

Umm, thanks but not really. before becoming a teacher I was an electrical engineer. Turns out there is a way to use these crystals to perform complex calculations. Not used so much now I suppose that computers have become so fast. BTW, for they work in reverse also. Apply a electrical voltage to make them oscillate. Thats how watches work these days.

That book sounds interesting, I'll have to give it a look.

I'm really enjoying your sketches on the other thread. The relation with the emerald eye is particularlt interesting, though for some reason I'm thinking more natural enemies. Not sure why yet though. Got any ideas?

Yeah! Someone has been following my story!!!
For a short time, Shylock falls under the Emerald eye power because it promises her the one thing she wants most ( go on take a guess, I'm predictable) this all happens after her planet is destroyed and she is very vulnerable.
As far as how she comes back and what happens afterwards I'm still not sure.
Any ideas?
