Never in a million years did I think I'd be seeing Mordru fighting side by side with Zymyr, Lightning Lord and Superman Prime!

EDIT - And freaking Grimbor for that matter!

And all drawn by Perez!!!!!! (enough exclamations?)

EDIT 2 - Man, I'm super-worried about any Legionnaires dying but I can't help be pretty exicted! XS and the Reboot! The Time Trapper! George Perez! And freaking Black Mace!

The potential is there to make this the most pleasing thing in years! But I guess that's a two-edged sword...

So now all 3 Legions are cannon? WOW

I'm now officially more interested in this than in Final Crisis

NRAMA: For the folks among our readers who are amateur Legion historians, when does this story take place in each Legion's history?

GJ: It's now. Right now for everybody. It's as current as the main book itself.

NRAMA: So the very latest that we've seen any of these Legions – that’s when this takes place?

GJ: Yep.

NRAMA: Everything in their history – is it all canon now?

GJ: Yeah.

NRAMA: So, nothing's been wiped away by any crisis or time-altering event?

GJ: We find out really where all those "wiping aways" and the various plans throughout the universe and history were orchestrated – like when Superboy was found to be an imposter right after the first Crisis, and then when they were wiped away in Zero Hour – there’s a connection to all that stuff. Someone's been screwing with the Legion for a very long time.

Does anyone know where we can see the image of the deleted page from JSA#6?

i'm looking forward to this but... i'm worried it'll just be a longer version of that Titans Annual that ended the DnA series.
lots of cameos and explosions... everyone holding hands amidst a time maelstrom...
cool to have johns mention XS, Gates, and Kinetix! i wonder if we'll see "Jarth" or Cub or Sneckie or Shakiri?
i wonder if he'll acknowledge Tyroc and Chemical King and Quislet in the original line-up?
i wonder if all 3 legions will be the same age as we've seen the "original/Lightning Saga/Action be depicted as "adults".
the biggest thing that interests me is which legion we leave with after all is said and done. the so-called "original" LSH (Lightning Saga/Action) now sometimes referred to as the Adult Legion, or the WaK 3boot?
it's the best of times and the worst of times.

just WHO is this Time Trapper?
entropy personified? insane Rokk Krinn? Glorith?
at the end of Crisis wasn't the Trapper shown to be a pregnant woman? wasn't that never explained? it would be a perfect thing for Johns and Perez to take on.

Or that 40th anniversary story with a bunch of different Legions. Or End of an Era.

As much as I despise continuity-crisis stories to begin with, ones with the Legion have been especially annoying.

I am super thrilled with this! First off it is GEORGE PEREZ secondly those two pages are NICE (beyond nice actually) and I LOVED seeing the Legion of Super Villains.

I'm really looking forward to this and it is nice that all three Legions are cannon in a wierd way.

I wonder how it ends but I know I will enjoy the ride

Well, I certainly understand and share Reboot's and EDE's lack of enthusiasm. The one thing to say in support of this is that Johns has shown a growing ability to actually tell entertaining stories with interesting characters within the framework of all this continuity crap. So, if he thinks he has an interesting story to tell, with engaging characterization, fine. I'm just tired of all the meta-continuity self-referential thing. I just want entertaining stories about enjoyable characters.

...but you don't have a moment where you're sitting there staring at a table full of twenty-five characters with little name signs that say, "Hi, my superpower is confusing you!"

being a newbie, I am not that versed in prior history. so I am not that all that interested in this. and worst of all which group(s) will fall? I really don't see a way to have multiple teams running around. JLA/JSA have healthy sales, but a split legion will just cut smaller pieces from an already small pie.

i hope this story brings back the action comics' legion for good. even if the current series is now written by my personal hero jim shooter, i'm just sick of it. i want "my" legion back. or i'll quit reading DC books, since i don't think i'd forgive DC to play around with me with months and months of this saga and than just put out a longer version of the titans/legion special (as someone said).

I think ultimately Geoff Johns will do right by all three boots of the Legion. I'm really looking forward to his giving us the revised final draft version of what it all means so the topic of 'continuity' can be dropped for eternity (or at least for a long time).

His knowledge of Legion history (and Perez's) should certainly make the Time Trapper sequences interesting with a great twist.

Really, Johns is more a "try to make it work for all fans" kind of a guy than a "there's only one version of the Legion" creator, and at the end of the day, that's the kind of creator I'd rather have heading this.

What's worrisome is the potential for specific Legionnaires from any era to be killed along the way, which I really am not looking forward too. (Not counting you, Dream Boy). The nightmare sequence of Superman Prime ripping various Legionnaires to pieces (or worse, the Subs) is not far-fetched and would be quite horrendous.

Brainy's lightning rod: people are already speculating it might be Impulse, and with Jenni Ognats on the cover, that could be it.

I'm looking forward to this but I have to admit that it's more to see what version of the LHS comes out the other side as the "Mainstream Team."

Personally I would buy all three books if the various versions were to be published as separate continuities. I don't think that has any possibility of happening however.

The someone has been screwing with the legion for a long time comment has me wondering if we are going to wind up with an amalgamated LSH at the end of this.

Could Sneckie, Sensor Girl, and Princess co-exist and if not which one is standing at the end?

And how would the Dawnstar/Shakiri question be resolved?

Garth or Jarth? Supergirl or Andromeda? M'onel or Mon-el? and for that matter Kal-El or Kon-El? suddenly both are viable options for LSH Membership in the "Mainstream DC Universe." The fact that Kon died in the last crisis didn't erase him, the way the Original Superboy was erased in after COIE, so could Kal and Kon both have had LSH Adventures with the same version of the LSH at different times?

I know that some of the answers to these questions will dissapoint me, but I'd be far more dissapointed if I didn't know that at least there will be an attempt by TPTB to answer them.

And who knows? The Legion of Super-Heroes (in all but one of it's various forms) has always been my favorite book and I've been amazed and surprised in the past when a story I had doubts about turned out to be far better than I expected.

i don't think the mere knowledge of all three legions being "alive" somewhere in the current DCU would be a relief for readers like me. in the end, we all know there'll gonna be only ONE legion series: what team will it star?

The first place I'd ever seen it was here on Legion World. It was in a post by andrewnolan2001, the last post on the page.

Well, obviously I put "at least for a long time" because I don't think it will ever be dropped by DC.
