The more I look at the line-up, it looks like Uncle Space and his groovy pantaloons, wise-cracking Wildfire and a bunch of bad-ass hotties!

still don't like "Uncle Space." "Uncle Swan," in honor of Curt, is a bit closer to "Sam." If you have to keep "Space," I'd rather see "the Super Uncle... of Space!"

I thought about Shadow Lass, but I was trying to stay away from Legionnaires. You are right that a guy can't possibly replace Phantom Lady with those curves she had.

The thing about Uncle Sam is that he and the United States have the same initials. Maybe Uncle Pol... of Space?

Don't we all know of a white haired gentleman, associated with the Legion and rumored to be nearly immortal? Now, many have though him to be the Martian Manhunter, but what if he had some other reason for being a proponent of the heroic age?

Now, maybe in the threeboot he needed to take on a psydonym because society has grown to so imparil the civil liberties he represents. Maybe he took on a French name in honor of those who came in at the last moment and helped give him birth.

Ok, so maybe he's put on a little weight in the last 1,000 years, but I say no to Uncle Sam, the leader of the 31st century Freedom Fighters is...
