Seems like Val got a haircut right before the Legion arrived! He let his bangs grow, but kept the sides and back trimmed short. Remember how he had that ponytail (it was a mullet tied up) in Legion Worlds? He cut it after Nadir used it to nab him. Maybe that's how Apparition was able to take him out? His bangs poked him in the eye, and he couldn't see Tinya. Two words, Val. Buzz Cut!

I think Karate Kid should have short hair -- it's much more practical for someone like him who's all about hand-to-hand combat and would really need the visibility. He just seems more pragmatic than say, Jo or Brin. Batista is also drawing most of the guys with almost the same haircut. Really short hair would make Val immediately identifiable.

it always makes me smile when i hear you refer to that "part" of a hairstyle ..... as a bang or bangs !!! we call it a fringe in the UK  Matthew.

i'm really trying to grow my hair at the moment, but it's driving me a little  !!! i wish it would just grow a bit faster !!! most of my friends think it looks OK down .... but it's taking me a while to get used to it !!! one day it's up the next it's down !!! what do you think .... Matthew.

See what happens when I forget to view Matty Poo's "recent posts"? I almost miss the good stuff!  I kinda like the "toussled-just-out-of-bed" hair, but that could just be because I'm just more used to it. And it plays into my fantasies Perhaps I just need to see more of the new style. Can you post 3 or 4 more pics, Matty Poo, so i can make a more educated evaluation?

How about the hair Val's got on the cover to Legion #34? That's all short and pratical and looks kinda like mine when I've had a haircut and my hair is all short.
