In the case of the former, for me it isn't the only REAL Legion-styled story on the list. It is the new character that I'd most like a writer to expand upon because the concept interests me.
In the case of the latter, never mind. [/b]What he said. And I'd like to see the Wanderers equally as well. I'd buy a GL Corps set in the future, too, for that matter. Oh, and I'd like that 3 team special talked about earlier, too.

One thing I'd like to read:
A story in which all three Legions have to team up with Superman to redeem Superboy-Prime. And at the end of this story, there's a single Legion (one whom all the fans can agree is a Legion they want to read about), who is in some kind of stable position from which a regular monthly Legion series can be started.
Why doesn't DC do something like that?

Actually, I didn't want to imply that Black Witch was part of all Legions. Rather, that somehow her subplot seems to contain (to most of us here, which see Legion in very different perspectives) a hook any of us can see as a "typical" Legion story. For instance, I really don't feel any interest in that Wanderers plotline, simply because it reminds of Countdown: Arena or one of those half-baked time travel things that usually end up badly at DC.
Oh, Matthew E, you wanted Johns to write what he proposed to? You should know better, after Infinite Crisis!

Wasn't consiously thinking that way when I voted, probably because I was thinking of it as a single star story about a Legion character.

The New Wanderers don't remind me of 'Countdown' at all, probably because I don't remember what 'Countdown' is. You don't mean to Zero Hour, do you? What's THAT got to do with anything now?
I'm glad I don't remember much. How can you enjoy anything if you live in the past like that?

The LSH-Wanderers do remind me of Marvel's reality-hoppers THE EXILES, which was an excellent series for a long time and recently had a thus-far enjoyable relaunch.
I think in the LSH-Wanderers, DC now has a go-to Legion for every crossover or event that demands a LSH presence without dragging the Johnsboot "real" team down into it all.
Which could be a good thing.

I think the Wanderers in their search for survivors with no Universes are sensing and are going to locate the 5YG Legion...also without a Universe(which would make sense since they fit in a zero hour time line on Earth 247 with the Reboot)..which also lines up with Giffen's intended fate for them.
Perhaps they'll even call them the New Omega Men or something like that as Giffen intended...or perhaps they'll just join the Wanderers.

Giffen originally planned for the 5YG (5YL?) to travel the multiverse? Wow.
Which of the Legion from that era are left to be found?
And a crossover Legion would be good, I think. I don't have a clue, really, but LLASH is a smartie, so I'll go with what he says. sigh

The New Wanderers could track down every unresolved plot line and wrap it up. That would keep them busy for decades!
I'd love to know how they came to the decision to go on this journey, and why Gates and XS didn't want to join them. Were the reasons they gave the real ones? XS had biological family connections, but in the end, she didn't go off with Bart.
The 247 Legion can become the New Wanderers; the 3boot team could not, if they were in the same position. I don't think the 3boot ever gelled as a team; too much squabbling and self-interest. You've got to have a cohesive team and be confident that you can take on whatever the universe throws at you - even your own demise. It made me love the 247 Legion all the more, going off into the unknown like that.

47 votes in, and 3 clear favorites maintain a lead, but there is at least some interest to apparent strong interest in all the other plotlines as well.
One thing I gotta hand to Johns, he did a great job of setting up so many dangling plotlines to revisit in ADVENTURE. Something else else to interest just about anyone, LSH fan or not. That can only be beneficial for sales.

On that note, I should mention that I almost included "Return of Superboy (Connor) and Kid Flash (Bart) to life" as a choice but that wasn't really a LSH plotline so much. I considered it more a TITANS/DCU in general plotline, and I wanted to keep the options LSH-centric.
Anything else anyoine feels I could have or should have included?

The poll covered the ones that had interested me.
I was out of the mainstream on the Sunboy-Polarboy matchup. I look forward to that, their interaction was one of the highlights of L3W for me. The arm thing I find incredibly stupid though. I'm still trying to figure out why they even bothered.
The search for MELad, Starman, seem like the same story to me, so I think that storyline would be more popular than the poll indicates.
What I would want is for the results to be sent to Geoff Johns/DC. They seem to think that they can retain traditional Legion readership and maybe attract new readerships with GL and Whineyboy but those stories were so low on the list I wonder if not only were they just not the favorites but might they also be not wanted. That's a different question, a different poll I suppose. Same threads but ask, which ones would cause painful convulsions.
GL, I can see some logic there. But would GL fans pick up a Legion book to see how their interests are doing in the future or will they only pick up a GL: 31st century book? I don't favor GL in the Legion's sphere but I'm not sure I would vomit over a minor appearance.
What in the world kind of evidence does DC have that a Whineyboy book would even sell on its own merits, let alone one that has been hijacked by the character? I've already told my LCS to drop ADV after #3 and also Superman and Blackest Night. I'm simply not interested in stories with this character; it removes all enjoyment for me.
Well, nice job on the poll MLLASH. I thought you picked good storylines and I think the voting supports that.

OK I just finished The Legion of Three WOrld.
I cannot wait to see what happens with the Black Witch. I am also hoping that somehow Zoe is freed. I would love to see the return of Kinetix on this world (without all the Terraform nonsense). I'm also intrigued by Blok and his recent transformation and how the Black Witch story will impact him.
YAY for the return of Chuck and Luornu!
And of course, I love me some Danny Blaine! Can't wait to read about the mission that he has... And Tellus too? YAY!!!!

Lo3W left me fairly numb, I have to say.
I'm interested inteh Black Witch, and can see potential for a (real, as opposed to fake) redemption story there - was SB-Prime redeemed, or punished? Did Superman forget that that was his goal?
Everything else is up for grabs.
Brek and Dirk = Booster and Beetle, not Fire and Ice. I see their team ups being fairly shallow affairs.
Dawnstar and Wildfire = GET OVER IT. It was barely interesting the first time around, please don't resurrect it again. That shoudl definitely be buried.
Missing Legionnaires - haven't we seen this before? Mildly entertaining then, but not enough so that we need a rebbot rerun.

One thing that I guess I'm kinda interested in that wasn't on Lash's poll (and that I don't think anyone has mentioned in this thread yet) - is the identity of Rond Vidar's son.
Or more specifically - the identity of his mother!
I know that in the 5YL Legion Rond had a relationship with Laurel Gand but with her absence from this timeline, I wonder who the lucky lady was?

Given his age, this could be one of the longest unresolved plot lines of the series, unless Universo breaks out and kidnaps the kid... or mom shows up with kid looking for Legion's help. I wonder who the mother could be - someone unknown to us, or (hopefully) a secondary character? Dr. Chaseer? Celeste Rockfish? A fling with Shvaughn Erin, which sent Jan storming off to the 21st century?

^^^ My first thought was Shvaughn too for some reason. Or maybe GiGi?
I think we can rule out all the Legion ladies since none of them showed more than the expected level of grief at Rond's passing (except Mysa maybe?)
Wouldn't someone like Quicksand be interesting though? Or like, that pirate captain woman who kindapped(?) Jo for a while? Some obscure Legion villainess anyway. I'd like to see some of the Legion's awesome wayyy in the background characters get some fleshing out.
I guess we'll have to wait until the team gets its own book again before that happens though.

Well, from Adventure #1, or #504, we know that Johns is pursuing the lost Legionnaires, Jan, Dreamy and possibly Cham, coming up soon. He's engaged Tellus and Starman, already.
Then, we've got Blok, his new look (gads) and probably a shot at the witch.
A Flash connection, somehow, although XS's plotline is the most vague and disturbing, I think.
And finally, a GL rookie Legionnaire.
The ring must be 'extra' because a Legionnaire has to have an intrinsic power, something natual, not given by an outside source.
I'm really looking forward to that. If there hasn't been any Magic Wars in this timeline, the rookie might be Pol.
As for Rond, I miss him, alot. I have always had a soft spot for him. sigh
I hope his new gal is as spectacular as his old one, Laurel. I think he had a baby girl, last time, and I wish he'd had a girl this time. Universo was terrible with Rond, he might do better (or completely ignore) a girl.

The final tally:
A full 76% of voters are intrigued by the Black Witch! That's pretty conclusive!
An impressive 56% of voters seem to want more of the reboot-era team (sans XS and Gates) in their new roles of The Wanderers!
47% of voters are wanting to get on with the search for missing Legionnaires like Matter-eater Lad and the others. This could be combined with the 22% of voters who were intrigued by Star Boy's mission and his love of french fries (I didn't consider when I posted the poll that Thom's mission was to SEARCH for missing Legionnaires... duh, me!!).
29% of voters seem keen on beefed-up Lu and Chuck being back, and 13% wanna see more on the all-new all-now bromance between Brek and Dirk.
13% of voters are interested in watching XS and Gates and how the fit in with the "real" LSH.
11% of voters want more of the Superboy VERSUS the LSH theme that could be a plot point for new 3boot appearances.
and 9% of voters show interest in the 31st Century Green Lantern Corps and Super-Prime's current status as a poster/blogger on the DC Boards.
Thanks for the votes! Feel free to discuss them!
