Shadow Lass! She has lots of initiative, she tried to help Jo with his powers problem, she decked Nura while Val philosophized, she's concerned about Dirk leaving, she can fight, keeping up with Karate Kid, she doesn't hold grudges (burnt beds! and she still works with Brainy even if she thinks he's insufferable), she does what's good for the group (going on patrol for p.r. reasons) and she has a good personality - none of the postboot anger, but she seems like a tough lady who isn't going to get rattled easily.

I wanted to vote for Cos but I fear that Brainy has poisoned the waters for him to continue to be effective while Vril (I mean Querl) is still around. Sunboy got consideration because this Dirk is light years better than any other version, but he was ready to quit because of his parents. Lyle was another possibility but he's still a little young/new for the others to take him seriously as Leader. No way in hell do I want to see Imra as Leader for again for a long, long, long time! That left me with Ayla and Tas. Both would be good choices. What decided me in Ayla's favor was the fact that she seems to get along well with everyone and that's going to be an important trait for the Legionniare that follows Cos as Leader. Some healing is going to need to take place and she seems best suited to do that.

I voted for him anyway because he seems to have the right qualities. Sun Boy was a close second, but I think he's still immature and has admitted to "identity" problems. I hope he'll remain as deputy because he has a lot of potential. Tasmia is a very interesting choice. I just didn't think of her until now. A dark horse, maybe.

I voted for Tinya, although I seriously considered Tasmia and Garth for awhile. I just don't think Sun Boy, Star Boy, Dream Girl and some others could handle leadership yet.
But I'm surprised (and kinda delighted) by how spread out the voting is!
