I think most of us are familiar with the two BATMAN: BLACK & WHITE mini series. Let's assume DC is considering doing a similar mini for the Legion: Top name & alternative creators doing 8-12 pages b&w stories of the Legion characters. There would be 3-5 stories per issues. Most of the stories might be considered Elseworlds as they would be the product of the creators unique vision and not tied to any current continuity.

Which creators would you like to see on such a book?

I agree with Darwin Cooke and Jill Thompson ... those two would truly do a great job.

I would add Andy Kubert (someone I always wanted to see draw the Legion) and maybe Frank Quitely, Dustin Nguyen, and Bryan Hitch as well.

I like some of the choices listed above, particularly Allred and Cooke.

Jan Duursema, of Star Wars fame, would be nice to see do a take on the Legion. I enjoy her pen drawings and covers incorporating computer art.

I'd also be interested in seeing past Legion artists doing b/w. Steve Lightle, Francis Manapul, Jeff Moy, and Oliver Coipel would be awesome to see in in pen & ink/wash.
