ACTION COMICS ANNUAL #10 Written by Geoff Johns & Richard Donner Art by Art Adams, Joe Kubert, Pete Woods, Rags Morales, Kevin Maguire, Eric Wight and Tony Daniel Cover by Adam Kubert & Joe Kubert Variant cover by Gary Frank What do Art Adams, Joe Kubert, Pete Woods, Rags Morales, Kevin Maguire and Eric Wight have in common? No, they’re not the latest rogues in Superman’s gallery! Rather, they’re just some of the talents DC has assembled to deliver ACTION COMICS ANNUAL #10, the place to catch up on all that’s new to Superman’s world — and to catch a glimpse of things to come in future issues of ACTION! Retailers: This issue will feature 2 covers that may be ordered separately. The Standard Edition cover is by Adam Kubert & Joe Kubert; one copy of the Variant Edition, with a cover by Gary Frank, may be ordered for every 10 copies of the Standard Edition ordered. Please see the Previews Order Form for further details. On sale January 31 • 48 pg, FC, $3.99 US The Standard Edition cover features Mon-El! Plus, our own Eric Wight's art is in this one too.

Thanks for the thought Eryk. I wanted to add this cover to the top of the page and needed an appropriate thread to use.

I wonder what the Gary Frank variant cover looks like.
I tried to rip their soul out.I tried to make them forget Superman. But they won't.

I love that cover! Joe Kubert art and an homage to the Superman annuals of the Silver Age.
I'm also thrilled to see Mon-El so involved in the Superman mythos.

Yikes...it looks like there'll be Legion ties to Superman. Though Carlin's nowhere to be found, this still kinda fills me with some sorta dread... :-/

So did this not hit the stands this week? I knew I forgot to order it so I went to the store and it wasn't on the shelf. The kid working there, unfortunately not the owner and totally clueless, said if it wasn't on the shelf it was sold out.

It does EDE. A quick check at DC now shows next week's date. At least I still have a chance to grab a copy.

Minispoiler: I think I know what Legion Artist Alum Eric Wright's drawing for the annual! http://www.ewight.blogspot.com/ (scroll down a couple entries) He's a really cool guy and has his own book coming out next week called Dead Girlfriend

Er... and there's a completely unexpected hint regarding Superman and the pre-Crisis Legion...

Hmm... I just read the issue and I've got to say, I'm glad Mon-El is back, I mean really back. I like the name of Daxam's sun, that tied things together nicely... and yeah the bit in the Fortress of Solitude was completley unexpected (I didn't notiece it until I read your post EDE and went back)...
and forgive my ignorance of past continuities, but what did they leave out?
Currently getting caught up on my Legion history by reading the Post-Zero Hour Legion.
