I'm not sure if this really deserves a new thread or not, but I just wanted to say that for the first time in over a year, I can't wait for the next issue of Legion to come out!!!
Blok!
Dawnstar!
Wildfire!
Ok, so the whole thing may well turn out to be some one-time-only hypertime thing, but that still can't take away my enthusiasm in seeing Dawnstar and Blok, two of my all-time faves, even if it's only for an issue.
How about the rest of you? Will you be dissapointed if Dawny, Blok, Tyroc and/or Wildfire aren't regular members of the cast by the time #15's over with?

Not excited. Expectations are thoroughly downplayed. Will not be disapointed.

I figure even if it's a one-time thing, it looks like we'll be seeing the classic versions of the characters rather than rebooted versions so that'll be something.
#15's got Hal Jordan and Wildfire! I'll be happy.

Although dissapointed that they probably won't be recurring, I'm very excited about seeing Wildfire & Dawnstar again! To me, its not really the Legion without them. I didn't realize how much I missed Blok until I saw that cover either.

I bet you were all severely disappointed with the issue. I know I was.

I wasn't.
It was an issue that was a celebration of the old.

Well, I finally read. I started this trhead because I was afraid of looking at any of the spoiler-filled posts. Now I kinda wished I had just looked at the spoilers and lowered my expectations just a bit.
It was still pretty exciting to see Blok, Dawny, White Witch, etc. in action again, even if it was imaginary. At least those characters aren't forgotten. I just wish a little extra thought had been put into their characterization. Heck, Gorilla freakin' Grodd had more personality than most of our forgotten Legionnaires. "Foolish Humans! Do you think a simple furniture incident is enough to deter me?" Or something like that.
At least an attempt was made with Quislet, although I really don't think the writer got him right.
It was a nice tribute issue I guess. I was a little dissapointed, but not too much.

I was a little disappointed in the artwork. While I liked it I wish it had been an artist I really would have loved to see on the Legion. (insert favorite artist's name here)
I guess the coloring in the "untold story" sections was supposed to look retro but I found it distracting.
Still though the last one that dealt with the original Crisis was pretty cute. It just goes to show that if the Legion had run into the Anti-Monitor to begin with then we'd still have the old DC we loved so much. *sigh* What took the entire DC Universe to battle only took 4 Legionnaires.
Now I have to dig out my old "Karate Kid" comics to see how that second story fits into the end of his series.
