While re-reading those senastional early Levitz/Giffen issues of the legion, it struck me how similar the Blok and T-Wolf friendship was to the Booster Gold and Blue Beetle friendship of Keith Giffen's run on the Justice League.
I love Blok and T-Wolf's friendship to death but it never occurred to me before that Keith Giffen might have been responsible for it.
Thoughts?

Booster and Beetle's friendship was very similar to Beast and Wonder Man and i think both were a product of the same writer. DeMattais?
Blok and T-Wolf's friendship was one of the great character interactions that made me love the Legion. So many of the relationships back then just seemed so natural.

*sniff* I miss seein' good ole' brin and blok being slightly befuddled by the women in/wanted to be in their lives.
But more than anything, i miss seein' Brin handled competently. During the bronze age he suffered a little from the current Dick Grayson disease...establish how powerful a character is by having them smack down Brin, argueablely the forth most physically powerful legion by what i read.
DnA only used him a little by the end of their run, but at least they made him competent as well as slightly humorous.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!
Something pithy!

I've always stated how Brin, a potentially out of control character, was "grounded" because of his relationship with Blok. While Blok, an otherwise very uninteresting "rock", was actually a very colorful and animated Legionnaire because of his interactions with Brin and Mysa.

I didn't like the way Element Lad would only leave Blok and Brin on monitor duty when he was at the headquarters. Did anyone ever call hi to task for that?

Yeah I'm a big fan of Brin, Blok, and their relationship. It's basically the classic buddy relationship...two guys as buds.
These guys were the muscle and you can say the hot head member coupled with the alien gentle giant made for a great duo.
It also reminds me of the Black Knight and Hercules in the Avengers somewhat.
I hope to see Brin and Blok soooooon!!!!

Timber Wolf: All our troubles seem to run in packs.
Blok: Like wolves?
...but you don't have a moment where you're sitting there staring at a table full of twenty-five characters with little name signs that say, "Hi, my superpower is confusing you!"
