these days i was reading again some issues of impulse, like the splendid ones by mark waid set in the XXX century future.
so, a doubt rose in me: what happened in the meantime between the impulse future and the legion one? if i remember correctly, they should be separated by just a few years, right? so, has ever been told by DC the fate of president thawne and stuff?

Yes, Chu was seen in, I think, Impulse # 25 as an aide to President Thawne. Jenni Ognatz is an infant in that issue, so it must have taken place some fifteen years before Legion/Legionnaires # 0.
