Hi All, Some of you may know that I work for a travel publisher, making maps and stuff. We're just about to send our new series of City Maps to the printer, and are adding 'thumbprints' as a level of copyright security. These take the forms of odd kinks in road lines (that we've put in deliberately), fake spot heights or small streams, or sometimes minor fake roads in out-of-the-way places. That way if we encounter a map that has one of these deliberate 'errors' in it, we'll know it's been ripped off from one of ours. My boss used his name as the thumbprint, so there's quite a few Streets, Carrers, Sois, Rues and Aviendas out there with his distinctive surname. Mine (Murphy) would have stood out a bit more on maps of places like Bangkok and Paris. So I used the Legion itself as my thumbprint, placing a 'Legion Way' (or something similar on every map. Does this qualify me for 'Legion Fanatic' of the week? The Legion - providing security for far-flung locations 1000 years before their time... After all, time travel is the "Legion Way"... Wayne@OZ

Hey Bizarro, Placing 'thumbprints' onto maps is an old tradition that predates the Overstreet Guide, or even comics themselves... Feel free to not pay me to not take my maps... When I get a chance I'll do a jpg grab of an area that features a 'Legion Way' and post it for the AR types amongst us... wm
