Star Boy and Dawnstar appearing in JSA (and who knows what other Legionnaires might show up) Infectious Lass in Tales of the Unexpected. Mon-El in the upcoming Action Annual The Emerald Eye of Ekron getting major facetime in 52. Persuader in the Suicide Squad.(could be the 21st centuary version but could not be also. Remember, he got caught in the same time stream hulabaloo as the Titans and the Legion that saw the end of the previous boot. Where did he end up? hmmmm? ) Saturn Queen on Kandor Saturn Queen, Lightning Lord, Cosmic King, Beauty Blaze and Echo in Superman/Batman. That's quite a lot of Legion lore that's been appearing in the 21st century DCU over the past months. Could it be the start of a rip roaring celebration to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Legion? And does it mean that somehow, all the previous continuities will get tied together into one coherent tapestry? Or does it mark the return of the multiverse and allow for all versions of the Legion to exist side by side? What do you all think this means?

I think the answer to the first is "very possible", but I expect DC to keep their cards close to their chest for a while yet. No harm in quizzing the pros about this at the 2007 cons, though. While speculation is fun, I don't think people should get their hopes up for any lasting changes or continuity shifts. There were people jonesing about how CRISIS was going to revive the old multiverse - all the clues were there, don't you know - and that didn't happen.

Are you sure? Kara is very different in LSH and her own book, Freedom Fighters are back, There have been suggestions of multiple Earths in several books including JLA, JSA, and the GL books.

Not to mention all those Monitors in that room together. Was that ever explained?

I don't think the timing of Mon-el's arrival in the 31st Century is a coincidence, either. I'm sure this is all going to be tied in together somehow. (God bless Paul Levitz.)

Hey Vee, I missed this one. Is she in the whole mini, or a particular issue? Is is an Infectious Lass, or really our Infectious Lass?

Earth-2, Earth-S, Earth-X and all that. DC isn't going back to that.
