MLLASH Time Trapper Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 33,081	That big SHOWDOWN WITH THE TIME TRAPPER really took the cake, didn't it? It was so ridiculously silly, you just have to love it. They spent months setting up the TTrapper to be the huge, scary unknown menace-- and long-term plot development like this was pretty rare for the Silver Age-- and when the big battle FINALLY comes, it's... a ludicrous farce, so degrading to the TTrapper that the character vanishes for a decade-plus! giggle! I mean, the TTrapper is beaten by babies. That's pretty funny. Also tres amusing to me are the scenes that set up the TTrapper to be Billy-Badass, like when he murders one of his henchmen just for kicks ("Me not want..." SPLURP!) and later kills Glorith just because he feels like it (SPLORP! "Ha, Ha! Instead of having sublime beauty, you are now revolting slime!")... yet he is STILL defeated by the Tot-Legion.
