There are a lot of alternate versions of heroes out there amidst the various companies. Basically, what version of the Legion would you love to see in mini-series, one-shot or series form?

Oh yeah, go ahead and post a possible origin for your version of WHAT IF? LSH.

I'd love to see an ELSEWORLDS alternative LSH set in Ancient Rome or a setting similar to Ancient Rome/Greece/Egypt with Legion-familiar names.

A Camelot alternative LSH was fun when done in an annual years ago. I'd like to see another riff on that theme.

Or- LEGION OF SUPER-TITANS...

... wherein something changes the timestream, with Legion characters now serving as sidekicks to various DCU heroes (and villains?) and banding together to preserve their sanity.

1,000 years in the future, a small group of teens-- some with superpowers, some without (but with faces and names familiar to Titans readers-- form a club honoring the efforts of their longago predecessors.

1000 years in the future where guilds live in social isolation and extreme politics rule, 3 strangers - just youths really - from different guilds come together to stop a terrible crime from happening on an old homeless man. The victim sees the children working together and immediately remembers another time, when superpowered people defended the innocent from wrong. A time not recorded in history lessons; a time of legends being born, only surviving as bedtime stories.
A week later, the three youth are followed by an identical glowing girl and invited to the newly renovated HALO CORP. The homeless man is revealed as Spartan, still functional (if a tad obsolete); the glowing girl - merged with some kind of spatial distortion energy device - introduces herself as Apollo. The young shaper, Coda assassin and psychic Daemonite hybrid take on similar legendary codenames: Rip Claw, Midnighter, and Savant. Calling their patron Mr. Majestic, the 4 join to become the first of the new LEGION OF SUPER HEROES!

When I picked "Dark Night" as a premise for a "What If?" Legion, I was referring to the idea of middle-aged, retired Legionnaires returning to duty.

And when I chose "Other" for on-going series, I was thinking that I'd love to see a Legion where no Legionnaire has ever died. Wouldn't it be great to see all of our favourites serving together at the same time?
