10 days to go and holding steady. We just want to be sure. Where are you looking. 2009? Count the zeros just to be sure. Are you sure the 2 doesn't look more like a 3? That would be just like Geoff Johns' snarky humor, to wait until the issue hits its "prime" date.

That's not how jinxing works. CMK is the one who's jinxing it. Don't you know anything about science?

Newton's 4th Law of time: The number of days until an anticipated event = numbers of days scheduled times anticipation on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being so bad you could pee your britches.

And 11 accidentally firing off an Uzi at the post office. How do you think the first "disgruntled postal worker" incident happened.

Hey, I'd love to claim I had the jinx power. But all the prior delays were totally not me, so I don't think I can be blamed if this one gets pushed either.
That said...9 days out and holding steady.

My 'Vidar' patented time viewer shows #5 in stores on the 22nd.
I'd tell you what happens but that would spoil it.

That's plenty of time for a whole new legion reboot to be launched and canceled.

Uh-oh - it's actually on Diamond's shipping list for next week. Since I honestly can't remember a single thing that has happened in this series, I am gonna have to reread the first 4 issues. I might actually wait until I actually have a copy of L3W #5 before I do that though - don't wanna read those 4 issues and then find out the last issue has been shelved due to lack of sales or something...

I still don't have issue #1! :grumble: :grumble: Maybe my dealer will have one for me with #5 and I'll get them BOTH next week! But probably not. ![sigh sigh](/forums/images/graemlins/default_dark/sigh.gif)

Do you want a recap? Or have you gleaned enough from the other issues/on line sources that you feel you already know what you need to from issue # 1.

I was just about to post that. I guess I don't need to keep checking that the release date hasn't slipped.
One week to go...

One week to go... Unless Paul Levitz pulls it as being unsuitable. It wouldn't be the first time.

Let's hope it's a better wrap up than the final issue of the series.

I actually find it kind of depressing. After all, it is the last Legion comic.
...Not forever, probably. But if there are ever going to be any more, we don't know about it.

Harry (Silver Age Lad) emailed me the first issue in 14 parts, so I'm good to go! ![love love](/forums/images/graemlins/default_dark/love.gif)

...Not forever, probably. But if there are ever going to be any more, we don't know about it. Yeah well, reading the new Previews I am getting that certain feeling that Adventure Comics WILL be the next Legion book - only as a backup like in the 70s in Action Comics. As for L3W, I am looking forward to the final issue. I really liked the series a lot thus far, even though 90s characters like Impulse and Superboy whom I never cared about did steal a lot of the Legion spotlight. But the story was more than solid and the art was breathtaking. Probably I will go for the HC when it comes out, seems to be affordable according to German Amazon. Wouldn't it be funny if the HC would be coming out BEFORE #5? Nooooo, don't hit me, aaaaaaah ![scream scream](/forums/images/graemlins/default_dark/scream.gif)

What's the HC? Is that German for trade paperback?

Well, yes... but then it isn't really a Legion comic, is it? It's a comic with a bit of LSH in it. Nothing wrong with that, but I want a Legion comic.

Definitely out on Wednesday and from someone who has seen it on a doctorwhoforum I frequent
'It's out next week. I've seen a copy and it's amazing - there's a Perez double-page spread that will make you cry. And while I'm not about to spoil anything, the ending is right out of The Twilight Zone!'
