I know there was some discussion of this way back in October, but now that we are into the second issue of the new series is there any more speculation on where Shikari is?

I actually wonder if we'll see her again. I think she was put in the position of being a possible way out if this series doesn't take off. Since she retains her memories of the pre-reboot, I tend to wonder if they will bring her back in this version.

I hope she's gone. If they bring her back remembering the old Legion that would be a real mess. And if they're keeping her around as some sort of safety switch to go back to the last reboot, then that's just too lame for words. If the DC gurus can't commit to this new Legion, then they shouldn't have jettisoned the old one.

My pet theory is that she's somehow behind the portal technology (much like Brande was behind the Stargates).

In fact, it would not surprise me if she was behind the formation of the Legion, as well.

I like the saftey switch because im still not loving new legion. She might be like Bishop was in the age of Apocolyps books in that she new there was something not quiet right with reality but not sure what.

The "safety switch" theory doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Why would they want to go back to a version of the Legion that wasn't selling?

Maybe around #24/#25 the Threeboot versions of the Dominators will unleash a group of clones of DnA legionnaires, based on Kari's memories, and there'll be two Legions simultaneously! Group LW6!

My guess is Shikari will be there for some kind of massive combination of the timelines when it's confirmed this series is good.

Then the Silver Age, Reboot, and Threeboot will somehow how have become one.

Then they'll release a big timeline issue.

Actually, I don't think they have to directly reference the preboot Legion for Shikari to work. She can just say she was a member of a team of heroes who were lost and that the Legion reminds her of them (or she created their organization in memory of them). Existing readers know she's referring to the reboot Legion while new readers only know that she's not new to the super-hero game.

I can't imagine this possibly happening. DC has made an investment in a new Legion. Why would they want to throw it away by bringing back old versions that really would confuse just about everyone.

I really hope not to see her. I was never a fan, so if she stays in limbo, I'm good with that.

But I have this nagging feeling that she was shown for a reason. I think someone hit the nail on the head when they said she may be the founder...

I rather like Shikari. I like her bravery and snarkiness and yet also she's a rebel who is not afraid to be who she is.

I really think she was the best thing to come of Legion Lost.

because they want to give fan service obviously (and establish a ONE TRUE LEGION).

Besides, the confusing stuff is crap and everyone knows it.

Crisis is only confusing because it was a fix for something that wasn't broken.

COMIC FANS ARE NOT STUPID. oddly, they're the most continuity obsessed people in the world.

All they would need to know is "Legion, other Legion, fighting bad of some kind."

Besides, No Supergirl suceeded because there's only one Supergirl in fans minds.

i would like to see shikari make it to the new legion somehow.

There's only ONE Kwaiverse!

...maybe...

Maybe Shikari's power helpes her find the path home to the Kwaiverse and from there all the legion possibilities are open to her and the other pathfinders?

Or maybe it could be like that old Flash issue where he crossed dimensions and met Julie Shwartz. Shikari finds out that she's only a comic book character in this Legion's reality.

It could make a really fun series of annuals or a kick butt mini series.
