*sigh!* I miss the days of yore when the Legionnaire Lasses would sometimes allow an outside force to conquer their wills, thereby freeing their true selves and releasing their inner schemers!

Equality has its downsides.
Maybe they scheme individually now. Post-boot Imra has been pretty good at scheming. Personally, I still have hopes that Mekt is off scheming up a big scheme and a triumphant return.

I like the way Cramer thinks. Scheming seems to run perfectly well in the Ranzz family (Garth's sacrifices & Mekt's plotting), so perhaps Ayla will be one of the first Legion lasses to step back up to the conspiring plate?
She and Jazmin WERE on shaky ground for awhile with each other...it would be interesting to see if Ayla has any revengeful schemes cooked up.

Yeah, the Legion gals haven't tried to make Jimmy Olsen think they were in love with him in EVER so long! What's up with that?

A couple of LEGION gals *were* shown to be scheming, before DAMNED.
UMBRA wanted to somehow kick the UP off of Talok VIII when she joined the Legion. She had a few schemish thought bubbles or asides here and there before she was 'softened up' a bit by her part in stories featuring STAR BOY and WILDFIRE.
She lost it in LOST, and in her most recent spotlight, she helped the UP maintain their presence on Talok VIII. 180 degree turnaround. She'd be a great schemer, I think... maybe something related to producing the next shadow champion-heir...
And Dreamer had some sort of scheme going back when she was an unofficial guest at the Metropolis HQ. She, too, had a few schemish thought bubbles. Like Umbra, her amorpous plan never went anywhere. Unless her plan was to somehow get the Khunds' attention... IMO, Dreamer should be the perfect schemer. In fact, I'd think it an almost mandatory result of her power.
And let's not forget Spider Girl, who really should grow into her name...
But these answers are too serious for this thread, aren't they?
How 'bout the idea that Zoe masterminded the whole hypertaxis evolution thing so that she could run around nekkid without nipples? That'd be a scheme and a half!

Well, Triplicate Girl had to know how her triple date would end, and Imra's probably up to something given the way she accepted Brin even though he was spying for Brainy.

Triplicate GIrl definitely, Saturn Girl most probably. Nura might appear to "scheme", but I think she just forgets to tell people how she sees their future mapped out.
Light Lass seems to be very un-scheme-like.

Considering that their scheming ability is going to be based purely on the writers writing abilities, you'll be waiting a LONG LONG time for some good female schemers.

Monstress worried about COLOR schemes... even moreso than the Athramites, I think!

My train of thought might miss a few stops before i get to the right station, but i understand you wanted feedback on scheming Legion ladies - but not necessarily Legionnaires.
Memory 1: Satan Girl (ADVENTURE 313).
What a vile witch she was injecting the Legion lasses with concentrated bursts of Red Kryptonite so they be quarantined because of their "Crimson Plague". Biggest surprise: She turned out to be Supergirl's "evil twin" seperated as an effect from a stray Red K meteor.
Memory 2: Queen Azura and her subjects (ADVENTURE 326).
At first endowed with sinister intentions when the LL's were brainwashed into disposed of the Legion Lad's by various nasyu methods. Biggest surprise: Azura repented when Mon-el and Ultra Boy saved her world from being struck by a rogue asteroid (or something like that).
Memory 3: Thora, of the matriarchy of Taltar (ADVENTURE 368). (Noted for being George Klein's last issue before moving on to Marvel).
Similar modus operandi to the Femnazis, except that she used a ray machine to augment the LL's abilities so they outshined the Lads in combat and in rescue effectiveness.
Biggest surprise: That President Boltax hadnt done a little research on Thora's colony before handing over a peace treaty. That woman was indeed a clever actress. Trouble is, she opts to take the coward's way out (suicide by deadly poison) before she could be taken into custody.
Memory 4: Charma (S/LSH 221)
This deadly auburn haired Lorelei nearly cooked the Legion's goose. Her power to attract men was compromised by its ability to turn women murderous. Felt sorry for Timber Wolf as he socked Light Lass (but i guess remorse was an acceptable cure).
Biggest surprise: that it was Shrinking Violet, the smallest Legionnaire (and losing a little of her mousy demeanour in the bargain) who put the kibosh on Charma by delivering a brutal haymaker punch upon her.
How Violet managed to survive the imminent onslaught from five angry Legion Lads is anyone's guess. The fact of the matter was that she did.
Memory 5 Captain Frake (LEGION 275)
Found the comatose Ultra Boy after he was supposedly "killed " in the previous issue. Fell in love with her virile "Seeker". Nearly made the grade as a man-eating antagonist, but failed miserably, due to poor scripting by Gerry Conway and so-so visuals by Janes and Chiaramonte.
Biggest surprise: A rare cover drawn by the incomparable Dave Cockrum (commemerating a special "anniversary" issue of sorts).
If severe editing is required, then i apologise for being chock-a-block full of built-up Legion trivia.
