I miss some of those characters too. Interestingly enough, the current Legion (and the Legio immediately before Legion Lost) probably has the most equal male-female ratio ever, but it probably isnt that noticeable because of the lack of girls' night out stories and the like. Still, in time, I'm sure we'll see some stories like that.

Yup IB I agree with you - more Shvaughn! And why not bring back other recurring SPs while they're at it? Like Gigi and that red haired bloke (forgotten his name.)
I'd like to see these heroines join the cadets:
Night Girl (so she can start her groupie-type romance with Cosmic Boy again)
Lamprey (but maybe more amphibious and scaly)
Mandalla (I liked the look of her in Who's Who in The Legion but we never saw her in action)
Mentalla (who should join the Legion this time!)
And I totally agree - Kinetix needs to come back as she originally appeared! She was such a unique Legionnaire and really should have started a romance with Gim. Sigh. She should never have grown a tail or morphed into the brown lummp thing she is today. Bring her back forthwith!

Agree with all of the above, except Kono (who I found a little annoying) and Thunder (who I want to come back!). And get Jacques Foccart's little sister (who was seen in one panel postboot, I think) exposed to Computo so that she can come back in a few years with the SW6-era Computo powers!

I want to see Veilmist, Neon (totally underused in the previous series) Life Lass (was Kinetix supposed to be a re-boot of this character when they originally greated her, I wonder?)

I always thought that Zoe was supposed to be semi-Life Lass ish but with a better defined personality. Shame they had to turn her into a power-crazed freak with a tail.

Did Particon have any real super-powers? I thought she was "just" a normal woman with a hi-tech battlesuit. With her powers and her (initial) bubbly, fun-loving personality, Kinetix was actually the reboot version of Quislet.  I have to admit, Thunder's personality wasn't developed much during her Legion membership; but I'm a long-time Marvel Family fan, so I wouldn't mind seeing her return (plus, I liked her costume much better than anything Andromeda or Supergirl ever wore).

I didn't warm up to Thunder and don't really remember Gas Girl or Particon, but all the heroines mentioned so far have a lot of potential stories in them. So many characters, so few pages!
One thing I miss is the female scientist - a role sometimes played by Dream Girl in the past. Post-boot, it's only Brainy and Invisible Kid, Gear to some extent - although he's more of an engineer. I think this is an awful condemnation - that in the 31st century, it's still the guys who are the science experts. I'm not saying it's intentional, but a female counterpart to Querl and Lyle would be welcome.

Gotta agree with Fat Cramer. Infectious Lass, Computo, Insect Queen and Calorie Queen would make good candidates for a female scientist.
For the current Dreamer, maybe she could be a published writer. She could have her own advice column or something. It seems like a natural application of her precog abilities.
