GREAT COVER! Striking image of Thom and Tasmia and cool little hints of some of the intrigue and excitement to be found in the issue too. Love it! One BIG gripe though - Tasmia is still WAY too white! Back to blue PLEASE Barry! I just can't understand why this colour change was made in the first place actually. Why change such a superficial (and yet important) part of a character for no reason? Unless there is a reason but I can't imagine what that might be. She looks way too much like Argent (of the Titans) now... and that is *not* a good comparison. Speaking of colours I'm *REALLY* hoping that the finished product on this comic is going to be more like it was in that 3-page preview we saw than what we've seen of the first 2 covers and in the Titans/Legion Special. The colours looked great in the 3-page preview but all the rest of it has been WAY too dull and muted. Barry's great art on this cover should be springing to life - instead it just looks flat and bland. And its definitely the colours that are causing this. Please talk about this with him/her (the colourist) Barry. I feel its an important issue. P.S. Chameleon Boy still hasn't found his antennae?

After reading that there wouldn't be old villians for a while my heart almost stopped when I thought I saw Darkseid in the lower right corner. -heh- It's not Universo either unless we get introduced to him as a relatively normal citizen before he turns into a meglomaniacal threat to the UP. I don't think that's a monacle though and it's the wrong side of the body to be Tharok.
Barry hasn't said anything about old groups though I wonder if we're going to see the Dark Circle pop up fairly soon?
...and it's going to be the end of January before we know for sure.
Nice cover. Are the preview pages you guys mentioned at that site where the cover is?

Love that cover... great costume design for the new Thom! Just one other note... when I started magnifying the image in my viewer, it kept zeroing in on Thom's crotch! Hmmm... interesting...

Tasmia's blue! This and the striking image of Imra caught my attention at first. Cham looks like Cham with those colors, even if the antennae are absent. Like the whole image in general.
I think it's too early to assume any of these people in the background are reboots/reimagingings of anyone before. Waid & Kitson don't seem to want to retread anything just yet, though as Legion fans I suppose you never know when they'll throw little easter eggs in.

Yeah, I actually think it's probably new people. I only meant it as a bit of idle speculation, I'm actually not that bothered. I'm not assuming anything, just wondering. I really would prefer it be new people, actually.

[/QB] I'm not giving anyway any info about Cham's antenna BUT - as for the color on these solicitation versions of the covers - I don't like it much either, but they have just been rough, or quick versions, I am assured by the excellent Steve Wacker that they'll look VERY different when completed. As for Shadow Lass - she should be blue...she will be blue... she was never meant to be gray, honest!
