Now that the reboot Legion has been retrofitted into the Earth 2 Legion how about a team up like the old JLA/JSA team ups? It would not have to be an yearly thing, but it would make for a good Legion of Super Heroes Annual. They even have the perfect premise already in place. Shikari. The E2 Legion could have made it back home out of the timestream and finally come looking for their lost teamate. They could send over mostly the members that do not have counterparts in the E1 Legion to avoid problems. Be interesting to see Kid Quantum, Wildfire, Gates, XS, Dreamer, Starboy, and few others like Brainiac 5 and Cosmic Boy meet up with the E1 Legion. Maybe even keep a one or two there (hint hint XS hint hint)on Earth 1.
It would be a fun little thing to do and very much in the silver age vein the Waid seems to like so much.

The bigger question is, "Would such a team up get Reboot to actually buy an issue of LSH?" By the way, Zeroman, I think your suggestion is an excellent idea.

I think the cast of characters is big enough as it is.
This is our Legion. For better or for worse, we're stuck with it. Let's make the best of it.

That is what Waid and Johns have said in a few interviews Kent. The current Legion is the post Infinite Crisis Earth 1 Legion. The reboot era is the Legion that would have come about if Earth 2 had stayed around. At least that is what they say anyway. So current Legion is the Earth 1 Legion. Reboot and DnA Legion is the Earth 2 Legion.

I'm really-really confused by the idea of the reboot Legion being from Earth-2. How would the Team20 storyline fit in? Did Vi zap the legion across dimensions as *well* as time?
With that said, I *love* your idea, Zeroman. Perodic "crises" where the two legions meet up would be so cool! And I'd love to see the old (reboot) Legion age, get married etc. as time went on a la the silver age E-2 JSA.

So....the Legion who debuted in ADVENTURE 247 was the Silver Age version? Or did they actually originate on Earth-Prime considering there was a version of Superboy there?

They're not saying the reboot was on E-2. Theyre saying that the collapse of the multiverse placed an alternate version of the Legion into the merged DCU. Superboy Prime in breaking through the prison, has just now realigned the time stream to the true DCU and the WaK version should be considered the Modern incarnation of the silver-age legion.
A big multi-legion crossover might be fun for the 50th anniversary of the Legion's first appearnce wouldn't it?

I can only imagine the number of pissed off Legion fans you'd have if the two doppleganger Legions started teaming up regularly with no mention of the original Legion.

A big multi-legion crossover might be fun for the 50th anniversary of the Legion's first appearnce wouldn't it? As big as the various LEGIONS story in LEGIONNAIRES 61/LSH 105? Jason Armstrong and Ron Boyd must have gotten artist's/inker's pen cramp after that nostagia-fest, Tamper ![smile smile](/forums/images/graemlins/default_dark/smile.gif)
