Simple question: Who do you think the Supergirl slated to join the Legion in issue #16 actually is.

Not that anybody voted for it but the pocket universe matrix character is now merged with a being called twighlight and has the power to animate the dead but none of the traditional superpowers and apparently wants nothing to do with the mantel.
As for Fallen angel/ Linda im not sure but I think Peter David owns the character.

Whoopsie. Am confused. You mean Peter David's "Fallen Angel" character is actually the Linda Danvers/Matrix/Earth Angel whose series (also written by PAD) was cancelled to make way for this new (ugh)Kara?

Well.... The way that PAD has explained it is that Fallen Angel actually took place slightly aside from teh main DCU which why no DCU proper characters turned up. However he deliberately wrote it so that Lee (Fallen Angel) could be read to be Linda (Supergirl). In one of the issues there's a character who is also clearly Batman in one of his aliases, although that's never stated explicitaly. However with the cancellation of the DCU series and the new (currently mini) series from... whichever company it is (I forget) it's now been stated that Lee was never Linda and that she'll get a completely new origin in the new mini-series.

So, basically, if you're reading the DCU Fallen Angel series then you can read the character as being Linda from PAD's Supergirl series but if you're reading the new series when it comes out then it's definately not Linda. Make sense? wink
