Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 10,145	To be honest I might not have even noticed Brainy kissing Lyle except that prior to reading the issue someone mentioned it on a thread without a spoiler warning (ahem!). I read 26 and 27 back-to-back and it was Jaz and Cos smoochin' that was an oh! moment for me. Not a big OMIGOD, just a small surprise...a nice little moment. As for B5/IK...well, the expression on Lyle's face seemed too much, like silent movie slapstick. So it seemed to me that it was being played for comedy and nothing else.

Su Substitute Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 86	I just got the comic with Brainy kissing Lyle and at first I thought it was a hug but then I saw the puckered lips and was like "wha?" I mean, Brainy has gone from showing no physical affection whatsoever to kissing cheeks? That is a bit odd. I could see a big hug, but Brainy doesn't strike me as much of a kisser. I think they did it to taunt the slash fanfic writers. Or maybe the writers have been watching the actors from Lord of the Rings smooching each other all the time and decided it would be fun. I was disappointed that nobody else seemed to notice that Brainy snogged Lyle. Would've been more entertaining if the team had reacted to it. Well, that's just my opinion. luv, -Su
