Facts have been released!
The art on my arc is being done by DAN JURGENS and ANDY SMITH.
Dan loves the Legion, and it shows. We're having a blast. And Andy is doing a terrific job on finishes. Gonna be a GREAT-LOOKING BOOK!
Many of you know how highly I regard Dan as an artist and writer, so this is a big deal for me! The art reminds me of those big huge oversized special books DC used to do, it's that good.
Huzzah!

Cool. I liked Dan's work on the Legion in the past.
How long are you guys on for...sorry if it's been covered before.
Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

Wow! Dan Jurgens?!? Can't say I was expecting that name. Still, he's a solid artist and while he has been a bit hit and miss with me - Superman (hit!), Metal Men (miss!) - I'm still really looking forward to seeing what you both do with the Legion!
Not familiar with Andy Smith though. What books might I have seen his work on?
P.S. Gail - Any clues as to which Legionnaires your arc will focus on?

It's Jurgens' writing that is hit-and-miss for me; I like his art!
So this is good news for me-- a Gail Simone story with Jurgens artwork!

Jurgens has always been a solid artist, imo but the only time I was was ever excited by him was when he was inked by Thibert. Still, it's good news -- I do like him.

I've love Jurgens! Hopefully Dev-Em or Dawnstar are in this arc!
I can't wait to see his take on the new Sensor or even Superboy for that matter!
And hints, Gail? Pretty please! *bats eyes*

Jurgens isn't a the topr of my list, but he's a great artist nonetheless - he was one of the first artists I could instantly recognise the style of (I started reading comics regularly with Reign of the Supermen, where he did the Superman title, I believe). Check out LSH/Titans: Universe Ablaze for Legion stuff already drawn by Jurgens! Although the story ended up 'imaginary' ( ) the pictures are purdy regardless. Don't think I've ever bought a title inked by Andy, so I'll welcome checking out a new artist. And of course, Gail Simone + Legion = COOLNESS.

Just want to say "Thanks!" to Gail for spending some time here with us on the boards. That's really cool that you would do so.

Simone and, especially, Jurgens. Forward to the past! (Since it's the Legion, we can't say "Back to the future.") I second Gary, Dev and Dawny ought to be coming by, but I'll still take it and like it.

Andy used to work on CrossGen and was the artist on The First. You can see examples of his work at his website here . You can also see an interview with Andy just posted at The Pulse You can read the interview here . Plenty of Green Lantern spoiler pics in the interview but no Legion.

Prediction the first: The SImone/Jurgens/Smith arc is going to be the kick in the shins LEGION has needed for a while.
Prediction the second: We shall be demanding the return of the Simone/Jurgens/Smith team.

I'm surprised nobody has brought up the DnA aspect that Jurgens and Smith will bring to the book. It seems like something us comic book "guys" would have jumped all over.
I will definitely be looking forward to this arc. It has "can't miss" written all over it, as far as quality story telling goes. I hope it lives up to my own personal build up.

I prefer not to think of this as a second DnA, since the leaves out Gail.
How about GAwD? Gail, Andy with Dan?
As in, "Oh my GAwD! What great stuff they are doing on the Legion!"

I suggest DAG as a name for the creative team.
And clearly it's a hint that they plan to prominently feature Stone Boy!
