Any word on when we'll finally get to see her in action? I'm intrigued by what little I've heard about this "new" Projectra. Gotta say I was a little disappointed with the white hair in the little circle on issue #3. For some reason, I thought she'd have purple hair, which I think would have been super cool! Nura should be the only white haired legion girl!

Don't mess with the real platinum princess. I have only two requests concerning her. One, that she still look like Seka. Two, that she and the new timber wolf hook up.

Issue #6 is suppose to feature every Legionnaire according to the solicit. I can't wait to see her back in action! It's been too damn long without her. The snake thing was the biggest insult to a character that I have ever seen. I hope that she is very powerful ala her Sensor Girl days. Hooking up with Timber Wolf would space rawk!!! He is another one of my favorites and deserves better treatment this time around.

well, I guess she can illusion her hair whatever color she wants.

Jeckie was the platunum-haired Legionnaire back when Nura was all having to be a Sub and stuff because she joined the Legion under false pretenses!

I've always liked there being 2 platinum blondes. We still don't have that in the re-imagining, though, since Nura's yellow-haired and whatnot.

Any guesses as to the exact nature of her powers? Several Legionnaires have already been tweaked. Will she be able to cast sensory illusions or merely visual? Will there be a limit? Will these illusions only be in someone's head or will they be light constructs that can be captured by cameras etc...?

I'm hoping they're full sensory--pure visual's too easy to ignore--but without objective existence. Just brainhacking.

Hey, I didn't pull the purple hair thing out of thin air--she DOES have purple hair on the cover of #1--but now I realize that was just the 'tint' of the cover. Since we have scads of brown haired boys now (even Cos has brown hair now--??), I reckon two platinum haired girls is cool. That is, assuming they'll get it right and make Nura white haired. Anyhoo, having Projectra with purple hair AND an all purple costume WOULD be a little too mono-chromatic!
I hope she is REALLY powerful. Projectra was in the first Legion story I ever read, and she got short-changed over the years. Glad she's back.

But there IS a hella-awesome Legion chick with purple hair that would space-rawk in Waid's Legion... Veilmist! Oh, and Infectious Lass!!! I almost forgot about her. NOT!

Let Nura have the purple tinted hair.

By "Seka" did you mean "Jeka"? If so, count me out on the one. I think Jeka was one of the biggest disappointments from the reboot Legion. A lot of people said that a snake character would have been fine - but not Projectra altered in this manner. I agree. I want Princess Projectra, not Princess Jeka a.k.a. "Sneckie".

As for Timber Wolf, I'd have to see what he's like (and her, too, for that matter) before trying to figure out how they'd fit together.

Veilmist's best appearances were before Legion on the Run. In LotR she (as well as Laurel) was slaughtered as an "F-You" to Tom & Mary Bierbaum.

Projectra was definitely rocking the 70's shag haircut during the Grell era. I always kinda found it interesting she had a "Princess Diana" look before Diana ever appeared!

I still think Projectra killing Nemesis Kid in revenge is one of the most powerful Legion moments ever.

My favorite look for Projectra was the long haired tragic widow from the TMK era. Part of that could have been the rocking Stuart Immomen artwork...

Agreed, Cru, wch is one reason I'm thrilled to see the long hair still around in this incarnation.

And again, Agreed, Jackie re: Jeckie vs. Nemesis Kid. There's a top 3 Legion "WOW!" moment, for certain!

I may not go on and on and on about her, but Jeckie is absolutely one of my favorite Legionnaires! She space-rawks, even when she's comatose!

They should have slaughtered SW6 Andromeda before Laurel.

Seka was most gloriously NOT strictly soft core, lol. And i have many, many, many happy pre- and formerly current-teen memories of her being much more than soft core, lol.

I never saw any Seka videos, but I remember her from cheesy old boob mags that kids always seem to manage to get copies of.

I must reluctantly agree with ferroboy. Much as I'd like to lobby for a Brin/Vi match-up, there's just not enough to go on right now. Now Brainy and Dream Girl, that's another story.

Not to me, i always thought they should have been together. Beauty and the beast. Val always had a lil' to much grace. Brin's a brawler, help strengthen that blue blood line.

To me it would be interesting for Brin and Projectra to get together. It would be like the really hot and smart prom queen dating the slower(ala Baxter Series)quarterback. It just seemed right with the high school like setting of the team. Though it would seem duplicated by the Tinya Jo relationship if they chose to re-do that one.
