Which side am I on? Well all my faves seems to be on Brainy's side...go figure. (though Sun Boy is on the other side)

There's only 6 people with Cos , 7 with Brainy....unless Atom Girl is there with Cos as well.

Hold yer horses! That's Cosmic Boy on the extreme left of the "Brainy" cover, according to Barry (who also identified KK on the right). I makes no sense for Cos to be on Brainy's team, so I'm not so sure this clique theory holds water. Interesting, though, that Imra is in the "Cos" position on the #7 cover. I suspect Barry is teasing us a bit ... a lot, actually.

Naturally, everyone thinks of Garth first when the word "remove" comes up, so it's probably NOT him in trouble this time. We haven't seen Star Boy's "hard luck" really exert itself yet, for example.

Of course its probably just Karate kid..still its fun to get the juices flowing & Rumors flying.

If this does become the division line between the team its hard to imagine a couple of them following the apparent leader on the cover.

Ultra boy not following Coz instead of Brainy for instance.
I'm sure he would rather follow a strict general than whats apparently a more laid back coz this series...not!

A case can be made for a few more on the various covers as well that seem on the wrong side...or on the wrong grouping.

But of course the characters in this volume have not been completely fleshed out & of course only at their beginnings so I'll buy anything for now.


The one thing I am sure of so far is this...the mystery person on Brainys cover is without a shadow of a doubt NOT Tellus,Blok,White witch or Quislet for that matter!!!

Ok, we've already seen a "double agent" at work - the Espionage Squad Lives! - and Cos appears far more devious and politically manipulative than we've seen him in the past as does B-5 so appearances are more than likely decieving. IMO

The group dynamics and internal political intrigue has me ...well...intrigued and all Mark has had to do is *hint* at some underlying motivations to keep my interest up.

So I'm thinking the cliques don't fall out that way at all however their mission status does so we'll continue to get mixed elements for purposes of dialogue and exposition as well all around superhero fun and games...with cool artwork (of course)

Nah, I should have squinted more, I think. The two folks in the background that Barry claims are KK and Cos, I "interpreted" as "mystery lab lad" (because I couldn't identify him) and Lyle (because if the two teams theory holds it can't be Cos and the hair looks like Lyle's (okay, not so much now...) and I had to find a spot for "one of Brainy's recruits.")

As far as KK, sure, Kitson says it's KK, but what do we really know about this Kitson guy? Can he really be trusted? I say it's not KK. And I'm *very* trustworthy.

Shouldn't this cover be split into seven panels? One in the middle and three down each side? Plus there should be labels for each character.

As long as these covers are generating as much banter & guesses as Identity Crisis did, I felt it is my right to toss in another guess that crossed my mind!

I'll keep this vague but I think you'll get the jist of it.

What if The group behind Brainy are simply the ones that believed in whatever his secret mission was & followed him.
During this mission Brainys team fails & gets caught..etc.

THEN..the team behind Cos has to come to their rescue.

Proving once again that Brainys superior smarts does Not make him a Superior leader.
If the above played out then Cos's leadership wouldnt be questioned till the next vote came around.

If I'm not mistaken even before Brainys bouts with sanity this subject did come up.
And by the way I'm talking 20 plus yrs ago or so.

There had to be a reason given for why the Smartest logical choice would not necasarily be the best leader.

This is not entirely true; at least, no more than any other animal. My friend has two goats, male and female. They're miniature and really cute! It's weird touching them, because they fur is coarse and they aren't even remotely soft.

And to bring this back to the Legion, yes, it was most definitely Projectra pretending to be the goats. Since that's the case, it must mean that Jeckie is smart enough for Brainy.

I really hope not. I want Garth to be his own man (literally). But if Imra and Garth are on a mission for Rokk, as I suspected from #3, then Garth is on Cos's side. It could be that Garth is not overtly (at least to Brainy and his crew) so that he could be that key player. Brainy might think he could get one of the founders and so have an important played. But if all three founders moved against Brainy, that would definitely be a force to be reckoned with - if only from a political standpoint.

Since bringing Projectra back as a snake didn't go over too well, maybe this time they'll bring someone back as a goat. Maybe instead of Timber Wolf, we'll get Judas Goat.... Lad. Instead of claws, he could have super hard hooves and super mountain climbing and head butting abilities.

Maybe there's only one goat, but it's from Cargg.
