Arrived in stores today! Did you get yours? And I have to say, they're actually pretty cute (Nice face sculpts!). Too bad DCD doesn't want to make anymore.

I did, Nighty! The first DC Direct toys I ever purcased, to show my support for them continuing the line.
I must agree with you, I love the facial expressions on these figures! Talk about detail, that's pretty neat...though it did make me sad to realize this could be the end (especially because I just started collecting).
Love the knowing, almost smug look on Lyle's face and Gim's boy-next-door cheer.

Actually, Future, I have every intention of getting Lyle. I only preordered Gim to show some support in the initial orders. Money kept me from preordering both. The only figure I won't buy is T-Wolf, because I'd much prefer the Cockrum design be immortalized in cheap plastic...

Ah, so it was a issue. I hear your point about T-Wolf. When I was looking at the other LSH figures, Brin and Ferro Lad didn't really scream 'Adventure Era!' to me as well as these two or the founders did. They'll probably be the last two I pick up, also because they're just so recent and still abundant.

Keep buying them guys! Together we can show DC Direct that they need to complete the SA LSH and also do other eras too! Cockrum/Grell especially! If we can show 'em they need to be made there is literally no limit to the Legion goodness that can be had! As a retail manager, (I manage an Anime store that dabbles in comics) I also know that Ferro Lad, Timber Wolf, Sun Boy, Star Boy, Chameleon Boy, Ultra Boy and the Superboy and Supergirl 2 pack are all still available for order through Diamond! Additional sales on any of those will help the cause as well! I want to complete my collection!

I have no idea why I didn't get the Superboy and Supergirl figures! I shoulda. When I went to the comic shop yesterday (Wed), my CB and IK figures were there, but I asked for them to be held a bit longer. I'll get them next time I go in.

They look sweet all together against Mordru too. Maybe if I can find a digital camera that works in my house, I'll take a pic or two.

I *used* to buy two of each figure, one to play with and one to keep in the box, but it really did get pretty expensive. So now I just buy one of each and keep them in the box. My point is, I can't group all of mine together and take a picture of them. Though.....
I have seriously considered attempting to stage the figures into scenes from Adventure Era Legion comics, taking pictures, and laying them out as comics. It could happen, maybe someday...

got mine yesterday. i've got'em all but mon-el and mordru. (anyone wanna sell their's?) is it really confirmed that they're not gonna finish the group? or just a rumor? i could never believe that they never tried marketing them with the best selling LSH archives when they were covering the Adventure days. stupid DC, pretty stupid. everyone who was a fan of those stories always wanted a set of superboy's Legion trophy figurines. these fit the bill perfectly. seems like they could re-use the supergirl sculpt for the legion ladies pretty easily. especially Vi and Luornu.

DC Direct hasn't said they won't do more, but they are putting the line "On hold" for the foreseeable future and they are being "re-evaluated". When DC Direct has done this in the past with a line of figures they rarely come back to the line. That's why I've been campaigning so hard to change DCD's minds to finish them while they are still on everybody's minds. We need Legion!

I guess I've been bad and not supported the line. Haven't gotten any of the last four and still need two from the last set (I think Cham and Dirk).
DC wouldn't need to 're-evaluate' the line if they had released a girl figure for every boy. I think that killed the sales.

Have to agree with Scott's statement about the girl figures. I was moving stuff around in my room for my return to college, and when my mother saw the Legion toys I just bought she commented, "What? No girls?"
As much as I love most to all of the Legionnaires, Lu and Tinya are certainly going to sell a lot better than any of the remaining male Legionnaires...if we ever get to that stage of the line, at least.

Got mine, although on my Invisible Kid figure, the brown portions of his costue have a pea-greenish tint. Did anyone else think this, or is it just mine?

Lyle and Gim have triumphantly joined the rest of the gang on top of my bookshelf. It's starting to get a bit crowded up there, but I've still got room for some girls!
In a slightly related note, I picked up the Art Asylum Kirk, Spock, and McCoy figures last week on Ebay. Have you guys seen these? How cool would it have been if Art Asylum had been making the Legion figures instead of DC Direct!
