Legion villains don't say "Bah!" anymore. Sad but true.

In fact, the decline in Legion sales corresponds directly with the decline of the usage of "Bah!" by Legion villains.

The Emerald Empress made saying "Bah!" seem so sexy!

There's also been a shameful lack of villains contriving to tie up male Legionnaires wearing ripped shirts in provocative poses.

Though the Credo *does* get a couple of points for shredding M'onel's uniform.

There haven't been any attempts to force a Legionnairess into becoming a space tyrant's bride, either.

Though Universo *did* drool all over Nura in DREAM CRIME.

In my attempts to include "Bah" in my everyday speech, I've noticed people now give me frightened looks. I have this overwhelming urge to by a book on serial killers and take notes. Also, everytime I do something, I feel the need to explain myself to someone.

Once popular among outsiders and political malcontents, the word 'Bah' fell into obscurity after discovering that the single syllable, when uttered with a challenging grimace upon speaker's face, was a ritualistic invitation for flesh-eating sentient fungi from Phytogoria to consume speaker's body.

Come to think of it, didn't Murdermaton say something like "Bah! Prepare to die, sissy Legionnaire!" right before he got eaten by the metal-eating flying worm swarm thingies?

Have you also noticed how no one, not even the girls, ever seems to "choke" or "sob" anymore?

All the girls I know say "choke" and "sob" all the time. It's very unrealistic that the Legion lasses don't.

Plus it sees odd the Legion ladies don't hit bad guys with their handbags.

People in the 31st century must be jaded and cynical; no one ever seems to <gasp> in surprise anymore.

I miss overly expressive eyebrows.

Drakken always says "Bah!" to Kim Possible. That's the proper villainous style.

... What? As if YOU don't watch "Kim Possible" and laugh at its witty stories. You just won't admit it!!!

That's another thing about today's comics... the villains don't say "curses!" anymore.

Today, tey just say the actual curse words.

Little old ladies seldom say "Pshaw!" anymore, and really when was the last time a hero uttered "Blast!" as a plan begins to go awry?

I miss villains saying, "Bah!" Heck, I miss all the old phrases...*choke* and *gasp* especially. These days we have to rely on overly detailed expressions of people's faces or paragraphs of dialogue to understand what characters are feeling or if events are going good or not!

Ah, for ye days of old...

The villains never threaten to make the heroes "pay in spades" anuymore. I'd rather be paid in walking money myself.

My favorite was/is "IEIEIE!! The light!" said as a person is being blinded by a sudden flash of light with hands usually thrown up to try and block the light.
