Isn't she the rather large unattractive lass Chuck briefly had a fling with after losing his powers the first time? I can vaguely recall the Legionnaires acting all startled upon meeting her, and lying through their teeth.. "Awwwp!!! She's, ummm... LOVELY, Bouncing Boy!"
I think Irene should be rebooted with the bouncing powers! Call her Princess Pingpong or some such...

I'm not kidding here... I think Cera Kesh is possibly the most interesting, well-written Legion villain of all time.
The Bierbaums actually made you want to root for the bad guy. Or gal, as the case was.

If they were writing the post-boot universe, we'd probably be enjoying the adventures of Matter-Eater Lad, Bouncing Boy, the Subs, etc. Not to mention, more than one issue of Legion Try-Outs!
