Thanks a lot for finding it. I was suspecting it might be in the encyclopedia galactica section but I was not sure which thread might have it. The who's who entry image has pretty much everyone from the Greg Larocque era plus the dead Legionnaires. Steve Lightle I think also did a group shot or pin up of the Legion for the hardcover History of the DC Universe by Perez. That one is missing one or 2 members from the Greg Larocque era.

I'm surprised there's not more love for the movie poster featuring the fantastic photomanips.

Lethargy Lad (alias Inept Man) is struggling to share a graphical image from Curt Swan & al... (cover of Piracy Press edition of Adventure Comics #5801) a "JPG" file, but doesn't know the secret uploading incantations. Can anyone here help out? Some sort of "html" (hot meal) wrapper for the filename?

Coipel for sentimentality, but I still voted for Perez. Best design, and love the sense of action!

On second thought, Ken Austin's movie poster is brilliant! I love it!

Difficult toss-up between the Perez and Giffen pics.
About the movie poster...that is not my work.
I can't for the life of me remember where I got the image from, I'd thought it was from here at Legion World.

I went against instinct by narrowly choosing Giffen over Perez. You don't mess with the Jedi Master, son. While I feel the Giffen shot would have been a lot better without Garfield and Spider-Man in it, it had Superboy and Supergirl in it, while Perez did not. And I would have preferred Wildfire in his cosume. But I like shots like that when the characters "know" they're posing for a picture.
As for those choices not included, I was a big fan of the Alan Davis shot, except for the Lori Morning thing inclusion. The cover of one of my all time favorites, Legion #300, rocked too. If it's not too Marvel, we could call the next poll: Son of Fave LSH Group Shot.

Well GEORGE PEREZ is the clear winner with 42% of the total vote!
KEITH GIFFEN's stellar job garnered 17% of the total vote. Not bad with so many choices but also far enough away from Perez to call George's victory a landslide!
NEAL ADAMS' work earned 15% of the vote.
The funtastic photomanips of the LSH MOVIE POSTER was enough to sway 8% of voters away from traditional artwork.
COIPEL, FRANK and the TOONIVERSE group shots each took 6% of the vote.
MANAPUL got no votes. Hard feelings left over from how the 3boot ended? Maybe.
I've got a part 2 planned... just need to get a tutorial from Nightcrawler first to get everything just so!
Thanks for participating!

I just thought that Yildiray Cinar's late entry deserved a viewing on this thread:
"Our devotion to each other was unexplainable" "You were kids" "No Batman, we were Legion"

There are a couple of ... interesting facial expressions on this -- Dawnstar looks content to mildly happy, and Saturn Girl looks explosive. Both seem out character for these ladies. I will be interested to see if anything in the stories supports their demeanor. An excellent work, though. One of the more dynamic poses I've seen for Wildfire; Shadow Lass lucks iconic; and this has to be one of THE best facial expressions I've EVER seen for Brainy -- insouciant, supremely self-confident, but not vril-ly.
...but you don't have a moment where you're sitting there staring at a table full of twenty-five characters with little name signs that say, "Hi, my superpower is confusing you!"

Wow, what a great shot of the Legion! Yeah, Saturn Girl looks fairly out of character, but maybe there's a reason?
Is this going to be published somewhere?

I think I'm going to put some of these in Bits because it feels like they're a little lost here.
I'll stop of course if it's too redundant or something. I'll take silence as permission.
A singin' and a dancin' along the way.

I find it interesting that he included Night Girl. Did he know something way back when?
