So we all know that there are tons of missing Legion stories from the Silver Age (re: first battle with Mordru), not to mention all the various plausible missing stories that we, Legion World, figure were probably never revealed to us readers (re: Eryk's Phantom Zone villains vs. the Legionnaires), but there must assuredly be unrevealed tales of the Legion during the era between Earth War to Levitz's return on the title?

What could some of these mighty tales be?

(1) The Taurus Gang/Legion of Super-Assassins team-up against the Legion!

(2) Pete Ross joins Cham in the 31st Century to hunt for his pal, Ultra Boy! He's then captured by the Khunds and threatens to not only restart the Earth War--but erase all of history as well!

(3) Elsa Perkins moves in next to Dr. Mayavale. Hilarity ensues!

There is plenty of room for missing solo adventure stories with Chemical King and Tyroc. We know they weren't getting panel time. Where the heck were they? They must have been battling some bad guys somewhere? Condo searching for meaning and honing is powers on unknown planets against unkown races? Maybe a soul of Antares connection? Tyroc protecting the treasures of Marzal from Sklarian thieves or the Resource Raiders?

After Tyroc is injured trying to break up a ring of space-pimps and lotus-fruit pushers, his girlfriend Saucy Jones infiltrates them to take revenge!

Duo Damsel has to track down an amnesiac Bouncing Boy, who has become King of Suhuru using that statue thingie he once offerred to Dream Girl!

Sun Boy teams-up with Quantum Queen of the Wanderers and serious romantic fireworks ensue!

The Legion Espionage Team in "The Curse of Cosmic Boy's Costume." The Legion investigates whether Cos was possessed by a villain (perhaps a phantom from Bgztl) when he came up with the mini-costume. Or, was it temporary insanity which he later transferred to Brainiac 5, resulting in his madness?!?!?!?!?

Surely the away team helping Brande and his fledging stars had to get in other silly adventures during their space sojourn. Dr. Mayavale and a mechanized world worshipping a corpse couldn't have been the only interesting cats who welcomed the Legion into their home.

Also: Saucy Jones. That's kind of fabulous.

Introduction of Dr. Regulus' evil sidekick, Pharmaceutical Phred:

Pharm Phred secretly administers a mutant Viagra virus to Timber Wolf, who develops an unsightly mange as a side affect. Brainy can't find a cure. Projectra faints. Finally, Anti-Lad appears from the future to administer Anti-radiation, causing Wolf to shed all his hair. Mange slowly disappears and weeks later, Wolf is re-issued a Legion Swim Pool Pass. Jeckie revives. Only an Anti-Lad name plate and a "Re-elect Mayavale for UP President" pin remains for Brainy to ponder.

Second story - Tinya's wardrobe closet is full. A probing solo story into the anxieties and dark place that is: "The Phantom Girl Zone"

Isn't there the one where Drura gives Sun Boy VD for getting too frisky?

It happens when the Subs go save Disco World from a really bad hangover. They happen upon Dirk still drunk after a night of partying it up. Evidently the ladies were not impressed with his leisure suit and he passed out on the dance floor before he could use his lines to proposition them.

The whole hangover thing is actually the work of Pulsar Stargrave who is developing a weapon to make the universe forget the bad fashions of that decade.

I'm sure there's at least one good women-in-prison story (ala Caged Heat!) detailing Charma's fate after her capture by the Legion!

Definitely there must be a "what were they doing when Omega attacked?" storyline featuring Devilfish, the Wanderers and the Heroes of Lallor.

Wasn't there a missing story explaining how Karate Kid went from being white to being Asian then back to being white again?

And how about the one detailing Charma and Grimbor's forays into the porn industry between capers?

"We've secretely replaced one of the Founders of this super-team with Grimbor the Chainsman, who refuses to even wear the heroes costume. Let's see if anyone notices..."

"We've also secretely replaced another founder with Farah Fawcett in a pink bikini. We're pretty sure that her husband noticed, but he's pretending he hasn't..."

You mean... "I am Curious... Yellow!"

A proposed scene for the sextastic epilogue to this tale:

The sad thing is, I remember picking up the Grimbor/Charma story at a local flea market. (This is around 1982-83, mind you.) Then sort of puzzling over whether or not anyone was still paying attention over in Comics Code Land.



I'm pretty sure that all of these ideas could've breezed past the Code during the same era. No sweat.

I'm liking Saucy Jones! I see a team up with her and 5YG Calorie Queen... add another hot chick, and you have a new, 31st Century, Legion Charlie's Angels!
