I propose that, by the 30th century, it should be obvious that a two-sex reproductive system is inefficient for a civilized culture, and they can genetically modify people to reproduce by parthenogenesis (female only).

Thus, the entire team can be re-imagined as female!

Of course, it would require another reboot, but this series has been going for two whole issues now...

I've always had this theory that since women are clearly, on average, superior to men, once they figure out how to reproduce without us, we're goners.

I'm sure Insect Queen and Eyeful Ethel will join soon.

Until someone like Andromeda or Supergirl joins, they're going to need a few guys for the heavy lifting and giant robot smashing.

At least the girls we do have present on the team can go around smacking criminals with their handbags and programming the robo-sewing machine and stuff.

Well, we know from Legion history that you can't trust a guy with an autochef.

If we could get Big Barda to join, she'd lift the couch AND vacuum behind it.

Or we could train the boys to vacuum. Actually we have a plethora of gay guys on board so surely they'll have finished the cleaning by the time we're back from the shops?

I don't remember any besides Supergirl who is off limits, I suppose.

I get the impression that Waid is going to stick only with the Adventure legionnaires for the immediate future.

We certainly can't have any boys catching the pain plague or getting smacked by a club and put in a coma. That's women's work!

Well the coma bits just Jekki. She has found somethiung she is good at and sticks to it.

We could have a reimagined Thora, either as a truly good heroine or as a legionnaire-gone-bad. Thola could be a candidate. She obviously won't put up with some guy who's afraid of being brainwashed - and I bet she wouldn't be fainting at the sight of evil-doers, either.

Hey, Light Lass can lift the couch. In fact, she can make all the furniture anti-gravity, so it's easy to vacuum under it.

I'd love to see Supergirl back, but I ain't holding my super breath. Otherwise, I'm thrilled that Waid's sticking with Adventure era Legionnaires. BUT, he could include supporting characters from that era and it would be okay with me. Bring on Insect Queen II and White Witch I say.

Although, with 8 girls to 11 boys, LSH does have a pretty high ratio of females to males, compared to most super hero teams.
