Anybody else pick this up?

It features issues #1-6 of the current series most of which appears to have been recolored. Including, but not limited to, Dream Girl's hair in #2. The 8-page teaser from TT/Legion Special is the first story and the dreaded roll call pages are restricted to three pages inserted into issue #1 and features everyone except Princess Projectra, Timber Wolf, & Atom Girl.

The last 7 pages are some of Barry's design sheets , with Karate Kid, Princess Projectra, Shrinking Violet/Atom Girl, Element Lad, and most of Cosmic Boy's pages missing. I wonder if they get included in the next volume?

I picked it up. Very nice. I like that they recolored things such as Dream Girl's hair. I also like the over all layout of the book. Including the faces on the credits pages and how they added the roll call pages right after the "And We Are Legion" page. I am very glad that they added Barry's design pages. I have posted several times how much I love seeing his design work. This is the first time we get to see more finished versions of Invisible Kid. laugh

Ordered one at 50% off so I won't see it for another couple of weeks.

I can't afford to buy trades of comics I've already read (at least not yet), so I didn't get this. But I'm glad to hear they recolored some parts and have design sketches. Very cool.

It's pretty groovy! I'm enjoying rediscovering just how awesome the first few issues of this series were!

I thought it was great...I collect "everything Legion" anyway. Hey, any chance of seeing what happened with Thola & Bilis. Remember Bilis got freaked out just before he and Thola were going at it when he discovered she was "one of them". I know how insignificant these characters are/were, but I love all of this interaction, especially with the Legion's current (any and all teens can be considered "Legion")Status. Maybe this "new" Legion status makes Thola and Bilis important. Maybe Bil has seen the light by now...especially if he wanted to continue seeing Thola anyway!

By the way on another note, in issue three how far was Triplicate Girl willing to go with Ultra Boy during her little ploy with him, Element Lad and Sun Boy?

Just picked this up and it was great re-reading the first 6 issues at one sitting. As with all series, it reads so much better because both the plot and characterisation complement each other rather than being found lacking, as is the experience in reading individual issues.

A speculation....

spoilers?

One legionnaire goes arguable insane....could this be Dream Girl's fate as she is revived without the power of prognostication, as shown by the teenagers on Naltor who are deprived of their ability to dream???

Hope not or at least not permanently smile Maybe that could be fodder for the introduction of the White Witch (fingers crossed smile ) to solve it, a nice reversal to when Dream Girl disguised herself to help the Hag in the previous incarnation. smile

Nice book overall but...

The 3-page "Letters to the Legion" from issue 6 is not reprinted in the TPB. frown

If it were me, I would've re-ordered the "Interlude" story (i.e. the Tinya spotlight) so that it came before the rest of #4, thus putting it exactly in the center of the book.
