So as I recently hunted down my first Omnibus edition (Uncanny X-Men), I was wondering... how would it be to have a Legion Omnibus edition, and which issues would you like to be in it? I know that DC will probably never do it - they don't even publish any action figures of the Legion anymore - but you can dream, can't you?
I would like to have a Levitz Omnibus starting with the Nullport story up til Omen. This would be a killer volume with a whole load of vintage stories which would certainly look great on some glossy paper...
Another one I could well imagine would be a Legion 5YL volume ##1-38, until the Earth blows up
That way, you would have the whole Giffen run handy for anyone who might be interested in space opera. Friend of mine who never read any Legion comic loved the 5YL run without any knowledge of the Legion whatsoever...
But until some of us will get a miracle machine, it's probably just dreaming and we have to be content that at least some elements of the Baxter series are being reprinted right now. It's a first step...
