there's something i didn't get from the TT/legion special, and maybe you can help me to understand it.
the story concludes with the legion lost in the timestream, right? so, why has their timeline been rewritten from scratch? i mean, if a being is removed from the timestream from a moment on, shouldn't it just be for every other people like he was dead, or something?
i'm not the kind of guy who usually lose himself into this kind of details, i mean, imho if a story is truly good little mistakes can be forgiven. for example, i don't care very much about stuff like continuity. but, since i didn't like this special at all, except for the final pages by waid/kitson (even if i found them a little too "grotesque" in the first sequences), at least i'd like to understand what happened... (if you're wondering why i didnt like it, let's just say that while reading the book i had the unpleasant feeling that it hadn't anything to tell at all, except for the fact that in the end of the story the legion had to disappear)
thanks you all in advance for your help and sorry if i'm so critic!

I don't think it's that the reboot team's timeline was wiped out, per se, but for some reason Shikari re-emerged in a different timeline, which is the storyline we will be following. I think the operating theory is that there isn't a single, set in stone, future of the DCU, so both of these timeline are possible futures.

I think the "fade-to-white" is more just the Legionnaire fading out from Shikari's point of view, becoming inaccessible to her.
After all, the Legionnaire's weren't actually in their timeline when the fadeout happened, but in the "timestream". The timestream itself shouldn't fade out, no matter what changes are made in the timeline.
