He was one of those artists whose talent was undeniable, but whose work I never quite connected with, until now. This beautiful eulogy, combined with a rare 2016 interview, ensures that I will develop a proper appreciation of his artistic legacy. I'm especially interested in tracking down a copy of "The Fracture of the Universal Boy."

Damn. I remember feeling very compelled by the artwork he did for the Desire story in Vertigo: Winter's Edge.

Man, what a talent. I remember his work on some Sandman issues, and I think he also did a Starman Times Past story. RIP.
