Nocturna was a Batman villain in the mid 80s. She had adopted Jason Todd in a story that crossed between Batman and Detective. The Gene Colan art stays in my mind, as it captured the battle between the romantically involved hero and villain in the middle of a raging, red skied storm of Crisis excellently. I only read some chapters, and getting glimpses added to the feeling of disconnect suffered by the cast in the conditions, and in their lives.

Twilight Lady was the retired villain whose picture Nite Owl kept in the original Watchmen comics. Maybe that was a small tribute to Nocturna.

Nocturna also appeared as a member of the latest version of the Suicide Squad (2021-2022) along with apparently a version of Superboy/Connor who became romantically involved. However as Waller was accessing multiple Earths for her team it is unclear if this Nocturna was from another Earth.
