Barbara Bain played Cinnamon Carter on the first 3 seasons of the original Mission Impossible. The show declined as soon as she and Martin Landau left.

Barbara Bain and Martin Landau next appeared in the UK production Space: 1999 as the leads. Probably the most well known Gerry Anderson show outside the UK and the Commonwealth, it ran for two (very different) seasons and still has a lot of fans today. Big Finish, a UK based Audio publishing company well known for producing new original audio adventures of past TV productions often voiced by the original actors, has produced a series for Space:1999 although not with Bain or Landau.

Space 1999 came about from concepts in Anderson's UFO series. Years later and the Gollop brothers would use the ideas in UFO for the organisation and look of their top selling X-Com computer games.

One of Hans Christian Andersen's lesser-known stories is called "The Girl Who Trod On A Loaf." It has a super-trippy middle portion but is sandwiched by a boring morality play with a treacly redemption arc at the end. Some stories are obscure for good reason.

Less writing, more sharp shooting practice.

I know it's a duck! Now if you'll stop shouting, I'll have a better chance of shooting it!

The Most Dangerous Game, filmed from the book, in 1924 was about hunting humans. It's influenced loads of things from Legion's Otto Orion to the Predator franchise.

In my brain cell (also kept in a jar as a comic book tribute) it's the other way round.

You're thinking of Laser Ape who assists on Tuesdays.
Not to be confused with Mallah on Fridays and Chopanzee on Sundays.

Ahhh, Chopanzee. I do love his series of piano *Nocturnes*. So sweet.
