Yeah, Grant's Batman titles always had really cool things to say. He and Breyfogle together made a really cool and almost otherworldly Batman at times, and it was his Detective Comics run where I jumped on board.

I am heartbroken! He was one of my greatest inspirations as a writer, as much for his work on LEGION and Judge Anderson as his and Norm Breyfogle Batman. As an editor he gave almost every notable British writer of the last four decades their first big break. And he had no patience for BS.
RIP, Mr. Grant.
