I'll take a peek, and *if* there's a Legion appearance, a closer peek. Otherwise not going to bother. Not a chance I'll pick it up based on some tenuous, barely present link to a future story.

But what if there will be one panel with a clue as to Gold Lantern's amazing secret origin?

Surely those hints will be kept as part of a 10 year tease into DCs infinite spectrum crisis of final legends. Wouldn't want to waste something so utterly awesome.

I?m sure the 10-year build-up will be worth it!

Wait until you hear what they've got planned for the connection between Comet and Gold Lantern!

Oooh and their including the Christmas story that was skipped in the last collection. That had some nice art in it and was just a nice story in general.

I was under control by my OWN Gold Lantern ring! I thought the Guardians of Oa gave it to me, but it turns out... oh wait I'll tell you next month, I've run out of time.

Noes! A new level of tease! My guess is that The Amber Butane Corps gave Ibby his replica Gold Lantern Ring. The why of it will no doubt make for a stupendous origin. But will it be as stunning unbelievable as Gold Lantern's?

Just wait and see.. one day in the future.... Lantern Ibby and Gold Lantern will... oh drat, I've run out of space to type the end of that senten-!

Yet another way of making the Gold Lantern origin a little more unobtainable is to have the need to ship it in baggies for mature connoisseur of the varied colours of cosmic ectoplasm.
