If that ever happens, maybe it should have something to do with the alien denizens of the Marvel Universe!?-Sort of a Humans Vs. Aliens arc!?!?

What was Civil War II? I recall thinking the first one had promise, but it dropped off a plot cliff early on.

Yes, and it should actually be a *civil* war. Everyone sits around a Victorian sitting room sipping tea and leading with their best rhetorical disputes. But very politely.

Unless someone dunks a biscuit. You would have to distance yourself from your arguments in case your social disgrace soiled them, before your exile into the Faraway Lands.

What was Civil War II? I recall thinking the first one had promise, but it dropped off a plot cliff early on. This happened during the "Rah! Rah! Inhumans are great!" period a few years back. One of the new Inhumans turning up seemed to have the power to see the future, or maybe a possible future, and there was a debate within the super-hero community of whether to act to prevent these futures by arresting/isolating the individuals seen in the visions (almost always disastrous) ala Minority Report. The arrest team was led by Captain Marvel and the future-is-malleable team was led by Ironman (somewhat ironically). It ended when Carol accidentally killed Tony, and some others (space-faring Inhumans? I can't remember) took the forecaster away from Earth with them. Other highlights were Hawkeye killing Bruce Banner (apparently at Banner's request) and going to trial but being cleared, and She-Hulk being seriously injured by friendly fire in a battle with Thanos causing her to become somewhat more enraged and dangerous in her hulk-form. I think She-Hulk's modified character is the biggest ongoing result as Hulk is back as the Immortal Hulk, and Tony was a holographic AI with Tony's mind patterns for a while before being downloaded into a clone body, so basically the same if a bit younger. If I am remembering anything incorrectly, someone please tell me.

That was pretty much it, but you left out how pretty much every other book that was forced to tie into Civil War II did nothing but rightfully complain about how pointless the whole thing was. It was clear none of the writers wanted this to be happening and Carol Danvers REALLY did not come out looking good at all whenever she appeared outside of CW II.

They should have a civil war over which DC.Continuity they like best. Iron Man is totally Team New 52, while Captain Marvel leads the Rebirth faction. Captain America hasn't liked anything since COIE.

I think there should be a civil war between the 616 Marvel Universe and the MCU. The comics universe has got to be SOOOO jealous!
