I love Lightning Lad's Heterochromia iridum. I hope Ayla has it too, but with the colors reversed.

My husky has it and everyone gets fascinated about it when they see him.

I liked it when they used it for Triad too, though of course she had orange and purple!

Wow, great eye...I thought the cape was just Sun Boy's fire trail, didn't realize there was more detail in there.

Looks like he (if indeed it's a he) has antennae as well.

I thought about that too...

Dr. Fate can teleport... maybe this Fate can only teleport? lol. Adds to power variety and explains why we have both White Witch and Dr. Fate...

They're giving it a good level of launch support. I don't recall this much publicity for the Waid/Kitson relaunch.

It's good to see. I think I picked up the first DnA issue having seen an ad for it. But I don't even recall there being this amount of a push for that.

I think it is in DC's interest for this to succeed. Between Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Wars, Disney has a lot of successful science-fiction/fantasy related properties. If we are lucky, we could see stuff from these books influence the TV shows/movies.

It’s hard to remember, but Avengers was at a nadir when Bendis took over and knocked X-Men off it’s perch. They’re probably hoping for some similar firepower here.

How early into his Avengers run was Disassembled? Not that I'm hoping for a similar arc here. Incidentally, whatever it's quality, I saw Disassembled on the comics rack of a mainstream newsagent the other day. It was with the normal comics, so either it has staying power or they are releasing one a month and it was just its turn.

I remember the interviews of Waid claiming it would be DC's top seller within a year or something!

Eh?

My views are my own and do not reflect those of everyone else... and I wouldn't have it any other way.

While looking through the comments on Ryan Sook's intagram post of the cover of issue #1, i noticed this:
Quote
is the skull kid (the one flying besides Mon-El and Proyectra in the cover) Invisible Kid, Chemical King or a brand new OC?

And Mr Sook answered this:
Quote
new!
