Is it a writer with a passion for the styles and engineering behind many great landmarks?
Is it a way of providing a subtext for what a character stands for?
Or is it just a writer struggling for a concept on the way to the office, and realising that a cosmic train carriage has already been used?
Whatever the reason, this is a tribute thread to the unlikely subset of characters inspired by architectural styles and buildings.

I'm surprised the late, great Steve Ditko never created any architectural heroes.
After all, his favorite author was Ayn Rand!
Still "Fickles" to my friends.

Well, there was Skyscraper of the Maximums in Superman/Batman, and The Architect, in Batman. (Sorry, no pix)
Next time we have a DC/Marvel crossover, I want it to take place in the Hostessverse

Waid, Morrison, Johns, and Rucka were known as The Architects in a Dr. Thirteen story.

Let's not forget Fortress Lad and Blockade Boy (if you can call a wall "architectural").

Jack Hawksmoor is architecture-adjacent.
