This cancellation of super sons better just be temporary while you re-launch the franchise. If they exit for good just to make room for you on the super books, I don’t think I can ever forgive you

So, you guys know those adds DC's been doing where it says BENDIS IS COMING?
Does anyone else remember the ending of Rosemary's Baby when the Satanists start chanting God Is Dead?

They will, ideally, give him the street-level titles as he was good at those over at Marvel (Marvel Knights). I thought New Avengers was okay considering what it was (editorial mandate to feature the popular characters), but Justice League titles seem difficult to keep afloat. Many of us here like the less mainstream titles, so I wouldn't worry too much.

The one thing I'm willing to give him in light of House of M, AVX, Civil War II, and what he did to Sera is Ultimate!Aunt May

I was pretty happy with many of his Avengers lineups. Yes, he was filled with popular characters, but he also made room for many secondary characters. As long as you shared his nostalgia for 70s characters, there was a lot to love there. I don't know if he has the same affection for 70s DC, but that might actually help him be less focused on returning to one particular era of comics history.
From what I understand he specifically requested Superman and NOT to do Batman. So it does at least seem he's using this switch to break out of his comfort zone. Or maybe he's just waiting for Tom King to finish so he can be the Batman writer who gets to set the direction for the character.

I'm optimistic for Lois and Jimmy, and curious about how it will go with Superman. Bendis was always much better with a single lead than a team.
He's made some comics I've loved. He's made some real crap too. Right now, he obviously needed to refind his mojo, and a move totally out of his comfort zone to a new company and comic's most iconic character may just be how to do it.
