yeah, with questions like this, someone will eventually guess it because there's a relatively small number of possible choices  i still give clues to speed it up though, as endless guessing isn't fun for any of us

Wasn't he a Legionnaire-in-disguise? He shot Imra and Jeckie because the Legion computers predicted Jeckie had a very high likelihood of breaking down during a mission. So the Legion set up a test, which included a fake mission and Pozr-Du shooting them into unconsciousness so they could pretend they had been sent to an alternate universe?

Absolutely correct. Chameleon Boy was the "Poser" and Brainiac 5 dressed up as Prince Projectur and Sun Boy as Saturn Lad. Fun little story that is one of Jeckie's better moments as she solves the puzzle. There was a minor plot problem in that Jeckie and Imra never saw Pozr-Du before they were shot and so there was no need for that aspect of the deception except for the readers, but I guess they might have seen him and so were just being careful.

I loved that story. my only Legion Archives is the one collecting that, and Shooter's other Action Comics back up issues. They were amazing, lots of nice character moments.
Which Legionnaire was impersonated by an impostor, where said impostor was caught because their powers worked too well?

My memory must have been working subconsciously because now that I have looked it up (Action Comics #379 "One of Us is an Imposter") isn't the story I was thinking of. I was remembering Superboy #211 "The Legion's Lost Home" when two crooks disguised themselves as Cosmic Boy and Shadow Lass to get in to the old Legion Clubhouse in a junkyard but my memory was faulty as they never used any fake powers before being caught by the Subs. Then there's also Superboy #173 "Trust me or Kill me" when Superboy has to pick between two identical Cosmic Boys. I wonder if there are any other imposter stories (apart from Yera/Vi) and did they also involve Cos?
The Legionnaires are resting in Seeris before going to attack the invading brutes but Chameleon Boy can't sleep. Why not?

What is it with Cos and Tasmia often getting impersonated? and yeah, my story was the Action comics back up where Uli Algor disguises herself as Shadow Lass. It was nicely done, Mon-El, Element Lad, Lightning Lad and Dream Girl all seemingly had their powers not working, but Uli Algor's and accomplice's devices caused them. Uli as Tas' powers worked too well, so that's how Mon figured it out!
Chameleon Boy not being able to sleep on Seeris: was he thinking of Princess Elwinda?
