No well before the Magic Wars.
Also, it was not an event as such. Think more characters.

I remember that time her brother(?) snuck inside Sun Boy to help stop her being assassinated, but she didn't die then, did she?

Nothing related to Brainy or Tinya's brother.
Another clue - the perpetrators have appeared multiple times.

BKL has it! in SLSH 253 - The Night of the Super Assassins - the evil group (including Blok) attack a Legion squad seemingly killing several of them. Neutrax specifically seemingly kills Tinya right in front of Jo's eyes then brags about it before he gets taken out by a combo of Neutrax and Titania.
Over to you BKL!

In Legion of 3 Worlds, Superboy-Prime was injured in a surprising way. What was it, and what fact did it reveal?

Seared by heat vision--proved he was the latest incarnation of the Time Trapper? While that’s true, it’s not what I’m thinking. The fact that he was injured was also surprising.

Threeboot Element Lad created kryptonite which worked on Superboy-Prime, proving that the Threeboot Legion were from his Earth?

Threeboot Element Lad created kryptonite which worked on Superboy-Prime, proving that the Threeboot Legion were from his Earth? Correct! I always thought it was a strange choice for a twist, especially since it was only used once before that Element Lad was killed. It takes away the uniqueness of Superboy-Prime being the only hero in his universe if the future is full of them, just for a one-time attack.

I agree. Geoff Johns loves to create twists and connections between various comic lore. Sometimes when it is part of a well thought out over-arching plot it can be good but sometimes it does seem to be a supposedly "cool idea" which is not really explored.
Saturn Girl helps Superboy by placing an image in his mind that enables him to defeat the Time Trapper with a single punch. What image did she share?

Was it of herself and three of their fellow Legionnaires. as the Trapper was using his powers to attack all five at the same moment in different timeframes with the same clock?

You have the correct adventure but the image Imra shared with him was not of the other legionnaires.
Looking closer at the issue, she didn't so much share an image as share his mind and helped him focus on something in particular.

Yes! Trapper was wearing an hourglass on his belt, something they had never done before. Imra, looking through Superboy's eyes and comparing to his super-memories, pointed it out to Kal who promptly punched and broke the hourglass, resulting in the breaking of the Trapper's special power in this scheme. Your turn Korbal.

I loved that show. I remember Prince Evillo but can't think of a second. Did Lex Luthor appear somewhere?
