you actually got it, stile! close enough smile

The Bizarro Legion wanted an origin. Because the real Legion formed by saving RJ Brande's life, they reasoned that their origin should be to kill Brande instead!

We also had Biz-M'Onel be weak to glass... which shields nothing, unlike original M'Onel, who is weak to lead, which shields a lot...

Biz-Brainy was very stupid, and Biz-Karate Kid was rather unfit and couldn't fight at all...

and probably most painful, biz-Dyrk Magz had his full magnetic powers, whereas the real Dyrk was depowered by then...

What are the 5 (or possibly 7) times the Legion has faced a Sun-Eater and how did they defeat it each time?

Mon-El as "Legionnaire Lemon" faced a gorilla-like Sun-Eater, rather than the classic "cosmic cloud" and I think just beat it up
The first Fatal Five story, in which Ferro Lad died carrying a bomb into its heart
Five lost Legionnaires faced a baby one on the Controllers's factory planet and Element Lad changed the whole planet into fissile material and they blew it up
During the Superman "Time and Time Again" story, where a time-displaced Superman carried the bomb into its heart
"Final Night", when a time-displaced half of the reboot Legion and native 20th-century boy Ferro faced it but it was ultimately destroyed by Hal Jordan
I'm pretty sure they and Superman faced a Sun-Eater in an issue of DC Comics Presents, but I don't remember how it was defeated then

That's six. I don't remember a seventh, unless you're referring to the fake Sun-Eater image planted by President Chu in Element Lad's mind as part of her plot to have the reboot Legion gather the reboot Fatal Five.

I remember an instance where Wildfire/Shrinking Violet carried a bomb together, but not sure if it's one of the incidents already stated above.

they also faced the Sun-Eater in the season 1 finale of the Legion toon, where Ferro Lad also sacrificed himself to defeat it

I think that was the "Time and Time Again" instance.

Great detailed answer Chaim. Matches all the times I was aware of. And yes Ibby's memory is of the Time and Time Again story where Wildfire destabilised the core and Vi turned his now empty containment suit into an anti-matter bomb before being extracted by Superman.

The incident in DC Comics Presents 43 was the first time Wildfire's anti-energy was used to destroy a sun-eater, with the other legionnaires providing a distraction.

The two kind-of incidents were also the ones you mentioned, Reboot Legion facing the President's hoax and Mon-El beating the gorilla-like sun-eater by giving it a hot foot with his heat vision (!?)

Your turn CMK.

To whom was Star Boy relating his life story while an election for Legion leader was occurring?

I just happened to sign on at the right time. I usually only sign on once a day and there have been times that I have seen two whole trivia questions answered between looking.
And yes I liked that story too.

There are a handful of Legion stories which involve two Honourary Legionnaires, but when did three of them appear together?

I'm sure this isn't what was meant, but three of them appear (one posthumously) in Superman 423 (Whatever happened to the Man of Tomorrow?) Not a legion story though.

Yes I thought of this. I think it is about the only time that the three 20th Century Honourary Legionnaires all appeared together. But as you say it is not a Legion story.

Also excluded were the various listings of legionnaires with images.

Yes you got it!

I spent a while matching up appearances of the various members but this was the only one I found that had three of them. It's possible I missed another but yes, in the celebration gathering at the end of #300 are Elastic Lad, Rond Vidar, and Psycho Kid.

Your turn CMK.

Piggybacking off of the previous question - who is the only Legionnaire on the active roster who is not present in that celebration scene at the end of Legion # 300?

I'm going to guess Tyroc although he was resigned or inactive since he was trapped in his home island. But timing wise, I could also say Shrinking Violet since the one pictured was Yera.

BTW: is there a list of who all the people in the background are? I know the wanderers, subs and other legion related people. (and SPider-man and Garfield). I think the person I thought was flyntt is actually Herbie. and I assume the "normal" looking people are creators.

Shrinking Violet was the answer I was going for, as indeed that's Yera participating in the ceremony disguised as her!

That's what I was thinking of. (although Sensor Girl must have also had it waived but it wasn't mentioned)
