That's it! Barbara Gordon and Ted Kord were flirting with each other online, not knowing each other's identities. It blossomed into a really cool RL friendships that had Ted join the supporting cast of Birds of Prey for a while. These were the most significant appearances he made between his exit from the Justice League and his death in Countdown.
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

I remember that Birds of Prey story quite well.
Which super-hero's father was a villain in one big crossover event only to flip to being a self-sacrificing hero in the next big crossover event?

Wally West's dad? I think in Millennium he turned out to be a Manhunter agent and then in Invasion he sacrificed himself to blow up a ship full of Durlans.

Good question Chaim. It just happened to be from my peak collecting era.
What team of youngsters Post-Crisis was written to be the children of the team of the same name Pre-Crisis?

Yep that's who I was thinking of. I thought this would either be really hard or really easy. Guess it was really easy.

you got it! and I love that story too, as well as the restoration of Ma Hunkel to the supporting cast of the JSA. And her heroic past is alluded to - she packed a punch against those robbers!

Not counting those members who broke away from the JSA to help found the team, who was the first member of Infinity, Inc. to appear in a comic book?

Ibby has it! Fury appeared (as Lyta Trevor) in an issue of Wonder Woman before the rest of Infinity, Inc. were introduced.
Brainwave Sr. used the image of Brainwave Jr. in several appearances prior to that, but Jr. himself did not appear until he appeared with the rest of the Infinity,Inc. team.

Cool!
Okay....
If the Martian Manhunter was known for his love of Oreos, which Justice Leaguer often ate all the donuts?
