https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/0...poilers-week-ahead-rumbling-around-c2e2/How do you fix / change something back after it was a huge disaster without outright admitting to the world that it was a terrible idea (though, *wink* we know it was too now)? That's how. All these announcements over the weekend pretty much confirm Didio is on the ropes and barely involved in Rebirth. He is trying to carve out a place for himself in other areas--and hey, if it actually ends up being good, that's cool--but the "main" DCU is kicking the dust off its shoes and moving past him. (Or bloody liberty, one can only hope).

HA, and I was the first one to call out that DiDio was being phased out of the main DCU, months ago!
Oh, yeah, who's the Queen Bee now?

If you accidentally cast a spell and made it happen, I shall worship you as a divine prophet!

Awww, thanks, Cobie, but my heroine Marjane Satrapi already called dibs of being the first female prophet back when she was 4 years old.

Yeah, 'cause superhero comics driven by the artist instead of the scripter are such guaranteed triumphs. DiDio is toast, he's just burning up a little longer. Either way, he's toast.

Actually, this kind of supports what I was saying. It looks like Didio is really been pushed aside for Rebirth, so he's found other "places" in the company to try to carve out a role for himself. It appears the Hanna-Barbara titles were one of them. I don't get any of those, but I've heard surprisingly very positive reviews on many of the series, which is great. Not my cup of tea, but hey, good for them. It looks like Dark Matter is similar. He's trying something else, more along the lines of his preferences (and Jim Lee's, who he has latched on to for years). Those series actually look pretty interesting, and all of those artists are artists that have caught my eye, many for decades, and some, like Rocafort, in recent years. I'm looking forward to trying some of them out. This article is one of the reasons I posted this thread!
