Legion World lost another great member of the family today. "Rtvu2", or "Kid Vudoo", or best known as simply "Vu" passed away yesterday. There are no details to share other than it comes directly from his immediate family on Facebook.

Vu had only posted on LW one time since 2012, but he was still on Facebook and other social media and stayed in contact with a lot of us. In the heyday of 2004-2008 ish, he was a huge part of this board, and remained somewhat so for a few years after. Many of the greatest nights of posting on LW included him.

A lot of us got to hang out with Vu in San Diego in the big meet up of 2008, and I'll remember hanging out and getting lit over a lot of drinks together that night. I always felt a he was a kindred spirit as someone who liked to have fun and have a close group of friends in real life.

This has been a tough year for this board and this one unfortunately only makes it worse.

RIP Vu. You'll be missed brother.

Though he and I rarely interacted, especially since I had a tendency to come and go during my first several years here, my thoughts and prayers are very much with his friends and family.

Rest in peace.

I met him at SDCC in 2008 also. We lived relatively near each other, but were not especially close, so we never planned a get-together. He always seemed like a lot of fun. I regret not getting to know him better.

I remember participating in some posting sprees with him back in the day. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a lot of fun and seemed like a great guy.

It has been a tragic year for Legion World. I do not think I met him, but I feel sad for his family and friends.

Vu was before my time here. But I'd often see his bouncing boy avatar popping up in threads as I'd trawl through the archives.

I was always struck at how often he was there to give encouragement to others. He seemed to be genuinely nice and supportive, looking out for his fellow posters. There were plenty of fun posts too, covering all sorts of subjects. It's that breadth of fun that Vu had, that makes LW such a bright place to be.

He was one of a number of posters I was looking forward to seeing back.

My thoughts are with his family and friends, including you all here, at this difficult time.

He was so lovely and I enjoyed hanging out with him at SDCC in '08. Rest In Peace, Vu.

Met him at the meet-up in '08 and although we weren't close we stayed FB friends throughout the years. He seemed like real good guy. My heart goes out to all his friends and family.

Well this sucks mightily. I didn't interact with Vu much, but I always saw his stuff around. This has been a rough year and toooo many LW'ers have passed on.
